So Manny's a Dodger...

Manny is a good player, I'd never want him on my team if I was the manager. But most change with the new team, look at TO. He's the Cowboys front man now, never a peep, seems to have found a home.
Manny, meh, not on MY team if I had my way. By the same token, any team that had to have him will be glad and hope for the best.

Me too!!! I hate the Cowboys also!

TO seems OK, but I don't care for football.
Rangers are my team. Like the Astros too.

But the STARS ROCK!!!!

I called this trade at 10pm last night

There was no replacing Manny in the lineup
but
he's 36
Scott Boras is whispering in his ear that he can get him a four year 80-100 mill contract, when the sox where holding a 20 million option for 09 and 2010
that's why he started to sit out games(making up injuries), and start loafing around the field/not running out ground balls. All are a major no-no for a guy making 20 mill per, and it's disrespectful to the game and to his teammates.

Jason Bay is 29 signed through next year for less money and his stats for this season are IDENTICAL to Mannys

The Sox had no choice but to move him.
