Negative, I spoke to a coworker who got laid off from ther as well, she had about $1000 in PTO and they did not pay her, seems it's not mandatory in FL since it's not detailed in the company handbook... fucking blows...
Waiting for Tuesday for this new position, they sent me the offer letter but it doesnt state how many hours a week, it does have benefits so I would think it's full time but I of course need to discuss it further, they just sent it for me to review, the company seems legit, I'm just usually very overly cautious, I wouldnt think they'd tell me to get CPR certified if it's BS.

Quick...before they can you, take the FMLA. You won't get paid but they are required by law to continue your benefits. Come up with something good though, like caring for a sick parent. You don't have kids and your husband works there so you can't use those. You could also develop a sudden and "serious health condition that makes the employee unable to perform the essential functions of his or her job."

Maybe they will offer to pay you the PTO if you leave. :) You could still refuse that and stay on your benefits for up to 12 weeks.
