Typical web developer snobbery. Yer all hifalutin cuz ya knows that there aich-oh-tee-em-el. Consider it not a replacement for your website; but a replacement for otherwise lame link exchanges to your website. Really, if you knew how many people click on friends of friend's pages and wind up on real sites you wouldn't question it...ever...seriously....I swear....honest injun.

well if you're going to go that route- then if there are 100+ million on myspace, then there are even more on the net as a whole.
so in that case, a real WEBSITE would reach way more than myspace.

if your audience is mostly musicians and highschool/college age kids, then go for it...

How many real websites are there that people never see? I am sure millions possibly billions myspace doesn't replace a real webpage it is merely a tool to market your webpage, service and or business. To market your webpage anyother way via google etc you would have to pay $$$ this is free marketing a very rare find.

I think your only vieiwing it as a site where kids hook up and shit it is much more then that.
