so how do i fix a good london broil?

I'm not sure about london broil but have two different way to cook steak that are absolutely incredible.

One - Look for a meat tenderizer and seasoning named "Allegro"
It should be near the barbecue sauce, steak sauce, tenderizers etc. at the grocery store. It is fucking great stuff. You can also use it on ribs. But, typically I use this whenever cooking steaks on charcoal and throw some hickory chips in with it. Marinate for anywhere from 1-4 hours, preferably about 2 though because the tenderizer will soften the meat up.

Two - use olive oil, soy sauce and Montreal steak seasoning. Use about 3 parts olive oil to 2 parts soy sauce and put a lot of the Montreal steak seasoning in the mixture and mix it up as best you can. Let your steaks marinate in that for about an hour. I personally like to use that whenever I'm cooking inside on the stove and can sear (sp?) the meat in a hot pan.

Sorry, that isn't london broil and may not be what you are looking for. If that's the case, sorry! Didn't mean to ruin the thread. Whenever I thought london broil it made me think of filet mignon, tbones and kc strips cause I'm hungry and like to eat!

LB's can be a bit tough, as in the cut of meat can become tough if NOT marinated I have found.

I use a pretty simple recipe:Crushed garlic cloves, virgin olive oil and FRESH rosemary, pepper, onion powder and a 1/2 cup of lemon juice. Cover in fridge alllll night..cook the following day!

325 degree oven til it falls apart! Enjoy!

any good recipes?

Make a tray out of foil, on the bottom, pour balsamic vinegar/1 tbsp olive oil/1 tbsp. of butter/cloves of garlic/onions/bell pepers...place steak on top...
then cover the top w/ more foil making an airproof foil pocket....BROIL for 30min, bake for 30min.....

p.s. I assume you marinade it in white/red wine sauce w/ celury and chives

make sure you cook it rare or medium rare! otherwide it will turn into shoe leather.

Dont throw sodium all over It Bro.

Marinate at least 6-7 Hrs in Balsamic Vineager.

Pour Granulated Garlic, Cracked pepper, Cayenne, onion Powder on it.

Give it a few whacks with a tenderizing hammer.

Serve Medium Rare, Or as rare as you can stand it.

This is how I eat my steaks, I have been eating Red meat nearly every night the past few weeks and love it, Im nice and vascular after eating as well.

go to Wal-mart and buy a cheap crock pot. throw it in there with some potatos and carrots and 2 cups of beef stock and cook it for about ten hours throw in some garlics cloves mrs. dash or whatever and it melts in your mouth.
