Someone gave me this the other night. It is a schnapps that actually comes in a bottle shaped like a snow globe. On the inside is a little glass sculpture (molded into the bottom of the bottle) of a couple dashing down a snowy hillside on a sled.
And get this. When you shake it... little flakes of wintergreen float around the inside. You know how Gold Schlanger has those gold flakes on the inside, well this has white wintergreen flakes that make it look just like a snowglobe.
Anyone heard of this? I looked for it online but couldn't find it. I am going to attempt to make a WinterGreen Martini later.
I was thinking 2 parts Grey Goose, 1 part Snowglobe and maybe a dash of grand mariner (or a hint of lime) Line the bottom of the glass and the rim with a touch of Godiva White Chocolate Liquor.
Many possiblities. I am going to fetch a neighbor to help me decide which is best. Of course, the lout will be like "needs more tequila" . When I tell him there is no tequila in it. He will be like "then add some".
