Sniper thinks he's god..

So did Satan. The Lake of Fire is reserved for both of them.

You're right. But until the wacko is found he is determining who lives or dies. Or at least who gets shot and who doesn't.

He only determines who dies. The moron sniper can't create life.

And steroid virgin good post.

It is all so predictable with crazed killers.

Now if the guy had left a chance card from a monopoly game that said "Police, I am Martin Lawrence" or even if he had said Joey Lawrence (who looks totally different now in that American Life show), that would have been interesting too.

I mean - god - whatever. every psycho thinks they are god.

not everyone thinks they are martin lawrence.

Hey SV....Why don't we take a few days off and do a little counter-sniper hunting....Heh heh heh...

I hope they take him alive, though doubtful....After zapping a 13 year old boy, I am sure they would have loads of fun with this fuck in prison.....

What are they up, 8 shootings?

Unbelievable.

I think the guy is just fucking with the police.

Matt,

you used to be in military, what is your take on this?? You think he's a pro??

Local law enforcement has no ideas on who the fuck this guy is, or where he will strike next. Sadly enough i think law enforcement hopes he strikes again to give them another chance to try and cath him...

The whole thing really has people in this area freaked.

Heard on the news this morning that schools in Fredicksburg and as far away as Orange will not let students outside, even for PT due to this fucker.....

I remember when doing that was riding my 4-wheeler into the middle of a field an waving.....this guy has to be stopped quick.

An interesting thought.

Would you rather that he never killed anyone again for the rest of his life, and just totally disappeared without a trace - the police can never find him, and he goes on to live a normal life, but lives.

Or would you rather that he keeps steadily shooting people like this, and eventually slips up and gets caught - and is then sentenced some punishment, either shot on the spot, or trial and imprisonment with a lifetime of anal atrocities?

I'm not sure which I'd want.

I think I'd rather no more shootings and they find him... but that's the easy way out in this sort of question.

Im down with that bro, the reward for his capture is up to $250,000 and its growing by the hour.. they have a web site where people can donate to the reward fund.

no dude... sorry.. that ws about scrappy's post about a normal spree killer

lol - you had to ask if I was joking?

don't make me use a red frowny face on you buddy - because I will.

I wonder what would make this guy do this? Was he playing Grand Theft Auto 3 and decided sniping people on the game just wasn't good enough or what? Did he listen to Ozzy or the Beatles white album, crazy or maybe even posessed by a demon? I wonder why he does it?

No matter why he does it, I think the way they should execute him is shoving the rifle slowly up his ass until he dies. I know that wasn't a very Christian thing to say but killing people randomly ruining not only their lives but the lives of their family just pisses me off.

He is using a .223 which used by the Military is 5.56 ball ammunition...this type weapon is not used for Hunting large game due to the small caliber...It can be used for varmit(groundhogs) but most prefer the .220 swift, or the 22.250

Does this mean he is prior Military...perhaps not, but with his skill, using cover, selecting targets of random opportunity, taking the shot then EEing....

My guess is he is either prior Military, or one of those fuckers like Taggart(sp..??) from the old Police Academy movies....

Either way, a purely wacked out fuck......

This whole thing will cause grief to the NRA and we will be sure to see new laws headed to Capatial Hill in the very near future....Just my opinion on this though.,....

the guy is definitely a pro rather than some deer hunting maniac. Probably one of these freak coming straight from the Marines or the US Army.

Anyway there's one thing that makes me doubt: why isn,t the guy using a silencer and/or subsonic ammo ? I wouldn't spend my time shooting at people this way and making noise at the same time. But since the guy think he's God then it might explain why ....

I doubt it was anything like games or music that made him do it. there have been spree killings long before Ozzy or GTA3 came out.

Well, if your other posts weren't always so serious, we might expect you to make a joke every now and again.

I don't think he is necessarily a pro or anything (as far as ex military or ex cop or something).

Anyone can buy a telescopic lens at a sporting goods store, and become a decent shot. With a little practice, and a good telescopic sight, anyone can start hitting small targets at great distances.

Is he in a car? left handed ?(so he can shoot from teh passenger side?)

I'd be scared too.

Well they said they think the last one was done from a combat position on his stomach with some tree cover overhead. That's where the found the tarot card. I think I read that there were roads right behind that location where he could have escaped in a car.

There's also the theory that he has an accomplise who is driving the car while he shoots.

what worries me about this situation is, i know some lame-brain liberal will present a bill further regulating firearms.

Do you think the Sikh religion would fall into that category?

I'm not sure what god they pray to and if that god uses tarot cards as a way of talking to the police.

I wonder if up in the land of the gods - like if there are more than one of them like some religions say - if this sort of stuff happens. like one god kills some other random god and then leaves behind a note for the other gods to find and it says "gods, I'm some fat human crazy dude"

Using Subs greatly reduces your accuracy on long range shots....

I doubt the guy is shooting long range since he's using a .223 caliber riffle. For long range I would rather use a .300 or .338....

Yeah....that's what i'm most worried about. Not the 6 people who've died.

"I have an M.D. from Harvard, I am board certified in cardio-thoracic medicine and trauma surgery, I have been awarded citations from seven different medical boards in New England, and I am never, ever sick at sea. So I ask you; when someone goes into that chapel and they fall on their knees and they pray to God that their wife doesn't miscarry or that their daughter doesn't bleed to death or that their mother doesn't suffer acute neural trama from postoperative shock, who do you think they're praying to? Now, go ahead and read your Bible, _Dennis_, and you go to your church, and, with any luck, you might win the annual raffle, but if you're looking for God, he was in operating room number two on November 17, and he doesn't like to be second guessed. You ask me if I have a God complex. Let me tell you something: I am God."

I know. We had the same problem here in Canada when a guy killed girl student in an engineering school. Liberal pussies are probably wishing more deaths so they have more fuel for their next battle....

Assuming that he did lie down prone in the grass, this still doesn't prove that he is ex-military. If he is using the .223 at 150 yards and less, it's got a pretty flat trajectory. Couple that with some decent optics and you don't really need to be all that good of a shot to do what this guy has been doing.

I'm not saying he's NOT ex-military but he certainly doesn't have to be.

Anyone who has experience with guns can hit a target at 100ft. I'd say he's hardly a PRO!!

I thought they said in the news the guy was shooting at more than 500 ft ???

If it is the same guy that has done all of the shootings and we assume it is, then he did miss the lady in the craft store. I know it is possible, but if he was ex-military and trained to shoot, I doubt he would of missed....but like I said, it is possible.

I guess it really doesn't matter either way, as long as he's caught.

I've had the thought that this might be terrorist activity. Timing, location, etc... Nothing to substantiate this thought, but could be nonetheless...

Just an off-the-wall thought, but if you knew you were going to commit suicide, why not do something like this, or rob a bank, etc. Then when they offer a reward, you could let your family/friends turn you in and get rich! Then you could kill yourself afterwards.

Hey, at least somebody would be coming out ahead.

Joshua Marquis, prosecutor in Clatsop County, Ore., and board member of the National District Attorneys Association, says the distance from which the weapon was fired doesn't necessarily help investigators. "With a scope, from 150 yards and with the kind of rifle involved, this isn't a shot a lot of good hunters or target shooters couldn't make," he said.

150 ft is short range IMO. I can't believe the guy hasn't been caught yet. SO forget about what I said previously. If he was smart enough or ex-military he would be wither : shooting long range or using some kind of sound suppressor.

This is quite a scheme. I don't think I could kill innocent people but if I was contemplating suicide because of financial reasond heck why not try the bank job. I would either get shot trying or my financial situation would be solved so I wouldn't have to kill myself hmmm. Good thinking Alien.
