Snap in my knee???

dude

New member
Here is the deal. I will start my leg workout with squats and do all the warmup sets and use good form on all reps. Then after I finish my sets I move over to stiff leg deadlifts and I have a light weight to warm up with. Well today as I was warming up and right at the bottom of the movement I feel this snap in the area right were your patellar tendon attaches to the tibia. It isn't really painful but it is kind of a shock. It happens really quickly and after that I don't really feel anything. This has happened to me before when I was just leaning over to pick something up after I did squats. Does anyone have any idea as to what I am talking about? I am clueless and would like to figure out a way to fix this. I'm not sure if this matters but I had patellar tendinitis in that knee and not my other one. The knee that I had tendinitis in is the only knee that does this.

Could just be your knee's knocking in your old age. :FRlol: just joking, that happens to me sometimes because my knees have taken some abuse, just like cracking your knuckles in my opinion. if it hurts then i'd have it checked out.

I would agree with the old age thing but I am only 20. It doesn't really hurt. If anything it kind of felt better today, but I was kind of scared that something in there might tear.
