smokin pot while on...

do any of yall do this? i did during my first cycle just because i like it. one of my buddies who is a powerlifter was telling me that he and other people he knows do it to boost their appetite. but on the other hand a dude at my gym was telling me that it can suppress gains and increase the chances of gyno. what's yalls take on it? which side are you on?
 
It will increase your appetite tenfold. It will also put you to sleep before long. At least it does for me. I used to smoke A LOt, but now not so often and only at night not long before bed if i do. If you don't smoke, don't start just to eat.
 
im trying to control the munchies......if u can do that, pot isnt a problem for gaining muscle/losing fat

just make sure you dont work out blazed.....and drop a barbell on your grizill

no i don't have a problem eating, infact i could literally have a meal every hour if i could afford it. i just do it because i enjoy it, it helps me relax. i used to workout stoned all the time. it helped me focus and put more effort into it. i haven't done that since i got back in the gym tho. NO xplode and weed lol extra energy and focus. so none of you guys have heard anything about the gyno thing and the suppressed gains?
 
A lot of pro's and npc guys toke up to help with diets and bulking. Not suggesting it though. In Greece my neighbor is on his balcony smoking hash out of his hooka all day long and his wife is always making these buffet like feasts. I didn't know what was going on, until my wife told me that wasn't molassis in his hooka, lol.

i wouldnt do it to eat more because usualy when your high you just eat food which is redly available to you (ex. chips, pep n cheds) however, if you can control that and brew up some steaks then its probably not a bad idea. i just use it to put me to bed when im suffering anxiety or adjusting your sleeping pattern.

personally, i wouldnt get involved in smoking.
 
i've smoked ED for past 6 years. i smoke before EVERY workout, and after, and after that too...basically i'm a high functioning, munchie controlled, busy, hard working husband/awesome dad, POTHEAD. i train definately better when high. i don't get blasted before training but high. i learned how to control the munchie part no prob. my only complaint is that i do believe it raises estrogen. when i do take random 1 week to 1 month breaks here and there, i notice i am tighter, training and diet the same, so it must be i'm tighter due to less water, i guess from lower estrogen. i will become not a daily smoker soon though...son is getting older and smarter, wife really doesn't care for it too much, and i'm kinda getting bored w/ it, and i basically blow $20 a day it comes down to, i could be leasing a fucking bad ass vehicle for that. the only time i really enjoy it now is right before i workout. i am focused like a mofo. in the beginning, no, but now and for past few years, very focused, it's just me, my i pod and the weights and cardio. PERIOD.

Except for the kid part, that sounds like exactly what I was about to post. I smoke every day. When I go on vacation, finding some grass is first on my to do list. I smoked literally ten minutes ago. Few bonghits after the gym is always great. I can relax and get a great nap right after working out.
As far as I'm concerned cannabis is an ESSENTIAL part of my diet/training/supps/AAS plan.
 
I smoke here and there, always nice to get some extra cals and good sleep once in a while. My appetite is so high now the only reason i have to stop eating is because my stomach is bulging out so much i cant fit anymore food in and it hurts.
 
Im a daily smoker myself and probably will be for a long time. I no longer workout high but right when Im done I smoke a fat blunt of the stickiest shit u have ever seen. Then I eat and take a nap and grow. Helps my temper SO MUCH!

there are other ways to increase your appetite, smoking pot is dehydrating
and counter productive to what your goals are

just got back from dominican republic and scored a quarter z within 4 hours of checking into hotel from a hotel employee. it wasn't as bangin as my shit here but it did the job. no seeds. only thing was after that him and other hotel dudes kept asking me if i wanted coke. i don't get down w/ that though.
 
I rarely do but my friend is a pot head and stays 6'0 235 5% year round.. amazing muscle quality/maturity.. to each his own..
 
I smoked for year's.... then i quit and I became a lot more focused and driven i eat when im hungry or not, i dont need a blaze to eat, and if you know some one who dose and is huge hen they got good genetics..... good for them but i would never put the 2 things to gether they just dont seem to work for me and i am suprised it dose for others maby if you stoped you would feel a difrence and if you find it lowers anger then how do you lift heavy, anger is a gift in the gym and if i was to relaxed or un motivated id load up a bar and drop it on my head. in my opinion its one or the other sports enhancement or rec drugs. I understand that some of us need to wind down or get to sleep but in my honest opinion its just an excuse to get stoned and most of you are probly hooked and cant stop ne way. the health benafits of stoping out weigh the reasons to keep on smoking.

It is very high in tar and toxins. Fucks up your lungs, and fucks with your mind. It's like booze, only you become a weed-a-holic. You gotta have it.
To eat, to sleep, to relax. Yo! That's called addiction. You know it!

I've smoked pounds of pot for years, but I quit when I decided to start bb and get in shape. It took about a year to clear my head after I quit that shit.
I know it relaxes you, helps you eat and sleep. But if you are smoking ED you are ADDICTED. Kick that shit to the curb.
 
i am not addicted. i take breaks at least every few months from anywhere from a week off up to a month off. i will stop from mid december to february since i get my yearly work physical and drug screen beginning of march...if i was addicted u would see me using synthetic piss or someone else's piss....no?... i did use synthetic piss once a few years ago though. that was because we got last minute notice that they were gonna start drug screening. i found out that news over phone as i was blazin. i'd say there's alot more on here addicted to sauce than there are addicted to pot.

ok so if i said arnold took heroin you would too and expect to look like him? he also never did pct or ran anti e's. arnold was one of the greats if not the best bodybuilder in thr history of the sport in more ways then 1 no offence but you should not even be compearing your self to him. and i bet it never helped gains just probly hindered them but with his great genetics he still managed to pull of 7 mr.o titles
