do you also lift etc?

how does it affect you negatively?

Well, it didn't affect me back when I was regularly working out. I was able to put on muscle easily but that may be due to genetics. Now that it has been a few years since I have worked out regularly and the fact that I have gained 40lbs of fat over those years, I am severely out of shape. So I can't say whether it's the added weight + inactivity or added weight + inactivity + smoking.

at least you got a hot wife, that has to soften the blow

I quit cold turkey June 5, 2002, never looked back. Can't stand it now. The only thing worse than a non-smoker is an ex-smoker on a fitness kick!

In the new Batman Begins there is a saying "The reason people fall is so they can learn to get back up" or something like that. I'm getting pretty good at getting back up. Good Luck Bor

Every now and then I will throw down a burner. But I wouldn't consider myself anywhere near a smoker and have never come close to being addicted my entire life.

I had it limited to just when I go out for the last few months...the past 3 weeks though I've been smoking normally again...fuckin' dumbass

Ive been chokin down heaters for many years now. Its funny you posted this thread though cuz Im quitting tomorrow (Fathers Day). Ive been taking drugs now for almost 10 days. Hope it helps

zyban?

Zyban and Wellbutrin are the same thing. A lot of insurance companies won't cover zyban, tho. So have yer doc prescribe Wellbutrin as an anti-depressant.

Mine isnt covered by insurance because Im not on it for depression. anxiety or Adult ADD. Im just trying to quit smoking and the ins co. doesnt see the need to cover the drug for this purpose. ALthough they WILL cover chemo if i get lung cancer

Frankly I dont care whats on my medical record, the more important issue is that I quit smoking before it kills me. I asked the doc to give me a diagnosis of depression so i could get the drug covered by ins. She refused stating that she would not diagnose me with something i dont have.

Well at least the Wellbutrin is cheaper than Zyban
