Smalles muscles later in the week?

Ive read somewhere (but cant remember where) something like "work bis tris and delts which are smaller muscles last in your weekly workout."

Can somebody explain and maybe give an example of the days they work which body parts during the week?

Thanks for anybodys comments. :mix:

I generally like to hit the supporting muscles for the bigger muscle groups, like chest and back, later in the week. For instance, you use your anterior delts and triceps when hitting chest (bench press) and you recruit your biceps and forearms when working back...so I generally like to start the week with chest and back and finish out with bi's, tri's, forearms and delts later on.

My current split looks like this:
Chest and Shoulders
Back and Forearms
Bi's and Tri's
Legs

*notice shoulders after chest (delts are pre-exhausted) and forearms after back (same idea).

This would hold only true if the beginning of the week were my most intense days. Most people need the weekend to recover cause either they are out of shape, don't sleep enough, or don't take their training seriously. Personally weekday or weekedn days are exactly the same as for energy levels
