Slin/Dbol Bridge Results

I completed a Cyp/Dbol cycle about 3 1/2 months ago. My final weight was 214 (Ht 5'4"), I was about 12% BF.

I immediately began 10 mg Dbol in the AM as a bridge (along with clomid therapy and HCG). Over the next month or so my weight was down to about 202. I was still feeling pretty good, but was concerened I lost so much weight, albeit much of it was water.

I then started a humalog cycle. Beginning slowly I worked my way up to 10 ius post w/o. I did this for about 3 weeks then discontinued for two weeks. No very pleased with the results.

I subsequently went back on only this time at 20 ius post w/o. I know thsi is a high dosage for me but I used all precautions and do not intend on staying on long. The results have been much better with 20 ius of slin. Weight is back up to 208 and my strenght is not far from weight it was post cycle. Pumps are feeling mucg better, although nothing like dbol. I have done the 20 ius for over two weeks and will now stay off until I begin my next AS cycle.

For me the slin def. worked, though I concede it does have risks, particularly if one is uneducated about its use.

Are you taking creatine and glutamine with your slin? Are you taking in fast digesting nutrients during your active time? These are key factors to utilizing slins full potential!
 
Lawnsaver: Yes I am taking 20 grams of glut and 10 grams of creatine with the whey and dextrose post w/o. I started off with like 10 grams of dex/ iu (when I was doing like 5 ius), then I kind of tapered down. I would say now with the 20 ius I take about 30 grams of dex.

Its interesting, but I need to have a real meal (chick/rice) about an hour after the shake or I seem to feel a little sick.

I assume by fast acting nutrients you mean whey and dex? is that correct? Can you make any improvements/suggestions?

Personally I stay away from solid foods, but that is just me. I put on fat to easy. If I stay away from solid foods, I stay leaner. If you have to eat solid foods do it early in the active time. Eat solid protien, but stay with High GI carbs.

It seems since you have upped the dose, you are doing better. I can onlt hypothosize that you had past your genetic potentail and you needed a lot more help maintaining your size than you thought.

Remember, your bdoy will always want to reject the new muscle if it can not susutain it naturally. Keep the clean cals up and use the slin to get you to the next cycle.

The next cycle will be tough! You are over your GP and you will need a diet that is strong as hell to keep the gains coming!

Lawnsaver - What do your meals consist of, and at what intervals? I am getting ready to start Humilin R. It will be my first experience with slin. From what I have read, I will be having a meal immediately after the injection, 1 hour after the injection, and then again at 2.5 hours after the injection. I also gain fat really easy so I was just curious of what you were using and at what carb/protein ratios? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to think about what you eat 2-3 hours prior to your shot too! Fats can still be circulating. I usually train for 2hrs average. I shoot 10-12ius and consume a 50-75grams Whey Protien Isolate shake( isopure zerocarb ) 20-30minutes after my shot with 50-75 grams of dextrose, 10 grams of creatine, and 20 grams of glutamine. I wait 1.5 hrs and I take another 50-75gram WPI shake. and finally at 3.5 hrs after my shot I take one more 50-75grams of WPI with an additional 30-50 grams of Dextrose.

I use all fast acting nutrients. I always put on fat when I ate whole foods. I came to a conclusion why I did, it was because the whole food took to long to digest. I wasnt utilizing all their nutrients and most whole foods have fat and complex carbs. You dont want complex carbs, you want High GI foods that digest fast so the slin can shuttle the nutrients into your muscles.

WPI and Dextrose are the keys as they are the fastest protien and sugar to be broken down and digested.

Also you will notice I only take 5-7 grams of carbs per iu. You dont need excess carbs! But first feel out your body first.

Go to the search function and go to the bottom and search the archives for Monsters Insulin Primer. Its the best. Or go to www.themusclezine.com and go to article and research board, I posted it there.

Meals:

I always have 2 different typesof protien at my house. I have Zerocarb and a blend, usually VPX's Micellen or Muscle Milk. Those last 2 have slower digesting types of protien. I usually have a shake of one of those before training. Ok here is my eating schedule:

Morning: Shake with fruit and maybe some eggs, and oatmeal

Mid Morning: Can of tuna and rye bread( I use Low fat Mayo )

Lunch: 3-5oz of chicken breast and yogurt, maybe soem "No-Yolk" egg noddles Or Lean Chili with beans

Dinner: 4-5pm Steak and salad, steak and NY egg noddles, or brown rice, Sometimes Salmond

Pre-training shake ( Slower Digesting Protiens with Creatine and glutamine )

Train- 7:30 -10pm

Slin shot, then all of the previous info from above.

No complex carbs after your slin shot, Remember your out of the woods after 4 hours, but the slin still has an effect for up to 6 hours. You wont go Hypo, but if there are fats or complex carbs that turn to fat, you will gain fat!

Now I might snack at night, but not on slin nights. I always have soda or Ice tea in the frig for quick carbs.

IMHO, when the slin is active you must fuel it with the fastest acting nutrients possible!!
