I bought a glucometer, some glucose tablets and insulin-r.
I started with 2 iu after a workout and have built up to 10 iu. At the time I take my shot I slam a shaker bottle full of 100 g of Cell tech(75 g dextrose for better absorption and 25 g of creatine) plus 50 g of whey with water. During this hour before my next meal my blood sugar stays about 70-100. I am quit comfortable. If I wait longer than an hour it will fall, but I have found that there is plenty of time to get some food in my belly. I eat every hour 50 g of whey with about 20 g of carbs after this for 3 more meals. I do fine with this and I weigh 176.
Now if you get in a bind chew some glucose tabs. Avoid fat like the plague!
It really isn't that RISKY and i have helped several others personally try it out. Every one is sensitive to insulin differently and I recommend the glucometer to fine tune yourself. I had one guy who was convinced he was going into hypogly and was about to pass out. It turned out he was blessed with a super vagus/vagul effect ("immagination".) His suger was 110. When i calmed him down and showed him the data from the glucometer he livened right up.
Do be careful and start slow but the amount of sugar/carbs in your plan is high for just starting with 2 iu. Which you should start with!!!!!! Just make sure you avoid the fat!!!
Good luck and dont nap or fall asleep for 4 hours.
