I figure I might get a better response in here.

For you guys that do these how heavy do you go?

I hit 315 for 5 today and part of me doesnt want go any higher.

Any benefits to going really heavy? My back actually feels great I think these have helped alot but I dont want to go so heavy that it starts to hurt.

like these as well.i dont see a problem going heavy as long as it does hurt..lol.you could try useing dumbells and go single leg if you haven't already.

why would you think 315 for 5 reps is alot? i wouldnt stop.. never stop trying to get stronger, that is the whole purpose of lifting..

That its I didnt know if 315 was alot I never really hear anything about people going super heavy. I didnt know whether it was because i just never heard it or people were worried about their back.

As long as you can keep good form and don't over strain your back there isn't a limit to the weight you should be doing. As with all things though don't get too gung ho and try to do more weight than you're ready for.

I think the most I've ever done on these is 405x6.

Cheers,
