I really don't understand what people expect. I mean these animals only serve one purpose: our food. It's not like they kidnapped anyone's pets or even someone's farm animals (which are likely serving the same purpose). As long as their methods yield tasty, healthy, and most importantly, cost efficient results for human consumption I doubt these practices will change.

have to keep in mind how many people live off these animals and making meat that lower income people can afford.

I like meat however I dont guess I ever gave it any thought of what the animal endures. You would think they could kill them via lethal injection.
