Skyfall. Who's seen it?

Went earlier today, and was not disappointed. Probably Daniel Craig's best one, and arguably the best one yet. Although Casino Royale is damn good still, but this one provides a different feel. Bardem is also excellent, playing a thoroughly creepy villain (ever wondered what a botched death-by-cyanide capsule looks like?), and the final standoff is the definition of explosive.

It's more personal and mature this time around, and there are a few classic touches that should make any fan smile.

Really? I thought it was great until the last little bit (when they went to his house).

And did the very end mean that this is the beginning or the ending of the series? Because it starts with M, Q, and everyone else.

A tad too long at 2:40, but Bardem was great as was Deakins photography per the usual.

Personally slightly prefer Casino Royale. Craig has, IMO, always been the best Bond (superior to Connery in Dr. No even).

I thought the standoff scene at his house was one of the better parts. It built up some tension being at an isolated location.

Not sure what's coming next, but it sounds like they're just reorganizing the ranks.

I think that the part that ruined it for me was that it's his parents house and the gameskeeper was there. If it was just a random location that he knew about, I'd likely like it better.

I type goodish. :)

And yes, Craig is the best bond. CR was one of the best movies (ie not campy).

I was thinking, why is he still there too, but it seemed like he knew what was up. Not much back story to him but he reminded me of what Alfred was to Master Wayne, only after he lost his fortune.

saw it last night, phenomenol. Bardem is possibly the best bond villain ever, he had me rolling.

Delightfully wicked he was. The fact that he planned everything out right down to the whole subway bombing was pure badassery.

I though there should have been more of a fight scene between Craig and Bardem. Other then that I thought the movie was very good. I liked the fallibility of Bond in this one.

bardems facial expression at the end after bond tossed the knife at him was utter fantastic. You could have framed it, cinematic perfection. And of course i and the whole theatre were rolling when he was gay baiting bond. :lmao:

Physically speaking I don't think Bardem had much fight in him, hence all the henchmen he needed to go up against 007. He'd been out of the game for like 15 years from the sounds of it.

God I want to see this again tomorrow.

That's true but I still think there should have been a little more. Then again Bardem had been after M all along. So it would make sense that the final confrontation was more between him and her.

great film. I love these new films - no cheesy Bond & Gadgets crap.

Badem was awesome. I kept thinking Heath Ledger. Might get an Oscar nod for this.

Badem was amazing during his introduction and when he was climbing the ladder. If I ever get to be a cartoony super villain, I hope do be like that.

does it have a lot of boring parts? love DC and his movies.

I always loved goldeneye with brosnan.
The goldeneye game on n64 was the best game ever!
