Skullcrusher or Extension?

They both hurt my elbows but standing tricep extensions I find better cuz you can get a stretch at the bottom if you lower the bar all the way down...
 
I can't do tricep extensions because of my shoulders, they are better since the addition of deca but just not worth it for me. I do close-grip bench, skull crushers, behind the back press downs, bench dips, rope extensions etc..
 
Do both. Use DBs, BBs, EZ curl bars. Mix it up.

My favorite is Rolling DB extensions either on a decline or laying on the floor. Lay on the floor and press the DBs, lower the DBs to the ground behind your head and let them deload. Power the DBs back up by flaring your lats and extending your elbows. Repeat for desired reps. These are fun.

They both used to hurt my elbows too until I narrowed my grip to about 6 inches apart.
 
did skullcrushers for two years. tri's are one of my strongest muscles on my body also. i'd say dips, sc's and tricep pressdowns will rock all three heads of your tri's
 
they workout different angles of the triceps. Do both.
