Skipping classes

Lately I've been pretty lazy attenting some of my classes. I'm still going to all of the compulsory ones where rolls are marked, and the ones that involve stuff I simply cannot afford to miss. However, the waste-of-time classes where you can get more done on your own, and ones that annoying times that aren't really necessary, tend to be disappearing from my own timetable :D I think the attitude is carrying over to my study habits, but I'm still getting all of my work done on time. I'm hoping I can get the motivation back for exams in a few weeks...

This morning it was pissing down with rain. I woke up, had my oats and protein, had a shower, and got in the car ready to drive to the train station to head into the city to uni. Half-way to the station I decided I was wasting my time, turned around, and came home. I wouldn't have learnt anything in the lectures, they weren't compulsory laboratory classes, and it was pissing down and I would've got really wet between the train station and uni. Ended up doing a week's worth of anatomy work. Now I'm procrastinating once more, and think I'll eat instead...

There are things said in lectures that wind up on the test that aren't always in the book. Anyway, I go to mine since it is good review. I always remember things said in the lecture on the test. Also, there are girls there!

I realise that you can miss some things that might be examined, but its a trade-off between missing the occasional useful piece of information, wasting your time, and getting some productive work done on your own (if you can be bothered!).

As for the girls, you have a very valid point! Unfortunately in my course, most of the girls are pretty average. They're all very ditzy and unintelligent :( When I was studying Law last year, the women were smart and confident. This year (Exercise Science, just a small change in courses!) they're just not that same...

yeah there's no hot chics in my engineering classes....oh well

I hard a class this semester, where the prof spoke broken english with a think European accent.

It was a waste of time to show up most of the time.

I like to skip classes and go do a hard workout then sleep. Then I actually feel like I've done something worthwhile. Those General Ed classes are completely worthless.
