Skinny boy needs basic advice

Ok, i'm a lanky bastard. 6ft2 and because i'm only 16 and my metabolism seems to be very high i did weigh 60kg, now i'm about 67/8kg and i'm noticing the difference, this is from about 3/4 months of going to the gym about 2/3 times a week. Atm i dont really have much a routine and i've decided that i really need one, as i said, i go about 3 times a week, for about an hour at a time, so i'm hoping there's a good rountine that someone can link me to.

I'm looking for an overall workout, but i'm not looking to become amazingly strong, just bulk up a bit, so triceps and chest are most important i guess.

Also, should i look into protein shakes and stuff? Or change my diet (atm pretty unhealthy) to make it easier for me to put weight on?

Also also, the veins in my arms bulge quite a bit, especially when i'm working out, and it's possibly the most unattractive thing i've ever seen, is there any way to advoid this?

Thanks in advance.

(Btw, if this is in the wrong section please move it :x )

just seen the sticky, looking through the routines there, i suppose the question about bulging veins can still stand though.

My guess is the bulging veins merely indicate low body fat. No worries - nothing you can really do about it either.

Most important to do for you:

Eat 1/2 to 1 kilo of meat a day
Drink 2-3 Liters of milk a day
Eat 300+ grams of carbs a day (minimum)
Squat 2x a week
Deadlift 1x a week
Standing Overhead Press 1-2x a week

At 16 I was 6'2" and 70 kg.

ya the veins are definatly low body fat......don't complain i can't get my body fat low enough for that too happen. if you want crazy strength the you need strength moves with crazy weight. do bench press, dead lift, squat, t bar rows, millitary press. i said this last week to a new comer also "all good athlete's know what you put into your body you get out." food is #1 you can't gain muscle on pepsi , pizza and hoho's. i kill a chicken every day!!!
