Skiing/SnowBoarding experiences-lets hear em

everyone has had a bad experience doing either and I want to hear them.

here is mine, last year I got a new board and a bunch of us went to a local place here but we didnt get up to the place until noon or so and I didnt own my own boots so I had to rent and they only had a size 13 and I am a 10, and everytime I went to switch edges I would wipe out hard because the boots didnt fit . eventually I figured out how to stay on one edge but I looked like a real ass. and ended up with a bruised tail bone for a few weeks

Last year i went snowboarding hungover... on rented boots and a long board (im 5'7") I got destroyed because i just couldn't balance and turn on that shit. I couldn't go out the next two days because my arse was that sore.

A few years back I went skiing with a group of friends. We got up there & were hanging out at the place we were staying --- drinking & having a good time. Someone got out the Black Sambuca, which I had never had before & it was good. But, I drank way too much and went skiing the next day hungover. I kept having to stop at the side of the trail & puke. Ugh!

i ride w/ the burton team usually b/c my buddy competes... last yr got a concusssion so bad i forgot a week of my life... sweet.

thats crazy man, were you in the board park messing around or something? or just a spill at high speeds?

definitely park... i used to ride competitively in HS... now I don't want to get hurt again.

I hear ya Irish, can't drink the stuff anymore. Actually cuz I'm trying to lose bodyfat, I don't really drink much anymore.
