This will be my leg day.

Extensions (my leg extension is OLD SCHOOL not light like new equiptment.)60x15

130x15 (about like 200 on a new model)

Now it gets rough

Leg press
900x12

Jump to

DB squats (easier on my fucked up knee) I do them on plates stacked up for extra depth.
150x15

Jump to

Sissy Squats
Me X 20

I rest for 2 min and repeat 3 times

Hammer leg curl
80 per side x 12

Jump to:

Standing leg curl (same old school shit)
60 x 12

Jump to:

Stiff leg dead bottom up to knee

185 x 12

repeat 3 times

Thats it. I am done in 40 min and my ass is whooped. I feel like a sissy anymore because my leg workouts were outragous in the day. 600 plus squats and shit. 2.5 hour gigs! oh well...we do what we must to survive now.

you should try that Casey Viator trio. i did that once. once. but some intense looking stuff there, nonetheless.....

You did what you did back in the day because that's the way we thought we had to do it. Even though it was a bit much, it still took you to where you are right now. This is a decent leg workout with the supersetting which gets you pumped and out of breath. I would like to see these new school kids trying to pull old school workouts. I honestly believe they wouldn't be able to hang. But any way, you do according to what your body letts you do. You definitely look good. Keep up the great work.

that's crazy, man. when you literally cause trauma to your body via weight training. it's rare for a human to take themselves thru that.

well, everyday folk, ya know? i don't really think the public get to see the actually process that leads to size and strength. they only see the end result. and if you asked them, "hey, how about a go at that?" they'd pass. when someone gets me mad, i picture them with 4 plates a side on their back. kinda like picturing people in their underwear to get over speaking in public....
 
you keep working with what you got man, congrats on keeping it real.

I suppose some of my workouts look tame compared to some newbie who comes in and does 1000 sets for chest (including cable crossovers-silly shit), while all I do is three-four exercises for chest and thats it. Once the mind muscle connection matures you need less to do more in my opinion.
