Simply egg whites?

Stunner2

New member
Quick question about simply egg whites. Just started using this product and according to the nutritional values on the outside it looks great. My problem is cooking it. I want to loose B/F, but the only way I know how to cook these egg whites is in a frying pan with a little vegetable PAM sprayed in so it doesn't stick. Is this OK? Any other ideas?

Thanks

Just use a non-stick pan and you won't have to worry about using any oil. That's what I do when I make eggs...

A little bit of Pam is fine. You shouldn't completely eliminate fat from your diet anyway, even if you're trying to lose.

i agree w/ you guys, you need fat to burn fat. When i cut i actually increase my fat intake, lower carbs and increase protein. May sound weird to some but it works for me so far. Problem w/ most people today think "ooooh fat, how disgusting lets not eat that you'll get fat," then they'll go eat about 100g in carbs in 1 meal. Makes no sense at all. Eat the fat!!

A little bit of (good) fat IS good

but if you really don't want to use fat you can use a microwave oven to cook your egg whites

hehe yeah when we say fat is good we aint talking about the blocks of lard they use to deepfry shit in :p

You will be fine, the body still needs fats to function properly, even if this is in the form of saturated fats in low consumption. People freak out too much over their fat consumptions. Some studies actually show that even trans fatty acids are of no health concern when in low amounts. About the only time you do not want to consume much fat, especially trans and saturated fatty acids, is during a high carb meal, especially one with High GI/high Insulinogenic properties like in a post-workout meal.
