Silva vs Franklin fight...

I have to disagree with two things said thus far that stick out in mymind

1.) Rich trained MThai
he did EVERY rookie mistake in the Clinch he could have done
if he trained MThai he should recieve his money back

2.) Silva did exactly to Rich what he did to Leben
not really
for many reasons
the outcome was pretty similar, but outside striking and clinching cannot be called exactly the same
tho he did beat both of thier asses in a relativly short timeframe, in that respect it was the same

Knee to the head in the clinch... Silva is just really long and doesn't have to bend that much to kneee ya in the head. I have to say i wasn't impressed when he knocked out leban but the way he tossed Rich around the ring i was extremely suprised and impressed.. I don't see any of the 185'ers from the show giving him a hard time at all...

I cant believe how bad Rich looked in the clinch. Fair enough the knees were doing damage to the body but Rich didnt look like he even tried to move out of the position he was in and then to drop his arms down to his sides was obvious what was going to happen from there he left himself wide open. I was suprised Rich didnt try a takedown to give him some recovery time instead he tried standing up that last knee was just fuckin sick his nose was screwed. On a seperate note Silva looks awesome. I just dont get how a fighter like Rich gets KO`d so quickly from a guy who has gone the distance 5 times in 17 fights.

The Miletich camp hasn't looked so good lately. My hats off to silva his Muay Tai is superb. I would like to see a rematch between these guys.

Kane, you are right, he did a couple rookie mistakes in the clinch. First he tried to create space the wrong way-------he tried to weave his arm in from the TOP, rather than weave it in from underneath.

Also, he bent over. Big mistake. I thought he would have at least tried to 'hip' into him to close distance?
