Marrying for love is silly. IMHO no one knows what REAL LOVE is until they have had the good fortune to become old and grey together and have managed to still LIKE one another throughout the process.

Who are we to judge?

People who are dirt poor marry every day and still divorce when they are dirt poor.

People who have money marry every day and still divorce whether they remain well-off or not.

People who marry when they were dirt poor still divorce when they become well-off.

Truth is people marry for the wrong reasons day in and day out. Money/looks are but a tiny fraction of those "wrong reasons".
