I recently order some pellets from the usually vet supplier I always order from, only this time I was left a slip saying UPS needs a signature in person. This has made me a little reluctant to pick up my package. I know it is legal to purchase, but have the pellets and the kits together has to be intent or something like that.

I called the supplier and asked if this was a new process, they told me that yes it was and paticularly on this product because of the price and the amount of fraud the company was receiving. They said that a lot of people are saying they didn't receive their package, when they did, and the company has to send out a new one.

Just wondering people's thoughts and if its safe for me to pick up.

i think i know who you are talking about and honestly its not our(consumers) fault its theirs...they take for damn ever shipping it and we get fed up waiting 2wks for something thats suppossed to take 3-4 business days so we call and complain...they ship yet another one to satisfy us and next thing you now the original shows up and a wk or so later the 2nd shows up so they are now requesting sigs to make sure they are not giving 2 for the price of 1 it wouldnt be a prob if they would run a efficient biz:D

if it's UPS just sign for it. i'm a driver for UPS and i've never seen or heard of any type of controlled deliveries in my 15yrs. working there, doersn't mean it hasn't happened, but i wouldn't sweat it

Yeah, it is ups and after I talked to the company on the phone the lady said that since it was an inconvience for me all future orders would be sent usps, I would just need to request it when ordering.
