Sighted in my boomstick.

My buddy needed to sight in his rifle to go moose hunting in Alaska (lucky fuckin prick) so I figured I should go too since I hadn't re-sighted mine since the scope kicked loose (dumbshit who mounted it didn't loctite the screws). Took me six shots, the last two were about a half inch apart and in the small ring stradling the crosspoint on the target. So I am pretty stoked about using it if I manage to make it out for late season this year.

Also tested out the WSAR-10 at 100yds, sights had me shooting a bit high but pretty dead on. Also got the newfound joy of emptying a full clip into a bowling ball.

Sounds like fun Scots. Where do you go hunting? I didn't put in on time for a tag but I am going to get an over-the-counter. Josh Lyons (Horse Whisperer) said I could hunt his land up here. Saw 6 little bucks the other day and big daddy was behind them waiting. Had my .45 and considered it for a moment, lol.
Waiting to hear from a few companies for work, but I will be back in Denver within a few months. we are going shooting then, I will bring my .270, 30-06, .22 lever action and .45.
Maybe by then I will have this baby...

Was a great time! I haven't been hunting in many years now, but used to go up around the red feather lakes area back into nunn creek. That is supposed to be some real pretty country on the lyons property though I've never been there.

My motion light went off last night and I looked out my window to see 2 nice bucks standing in front of my window. I wish they would do that during hunting season.
