Side by side comparison:Testosterone Vs. Winstrol

Great info Huck. I'm just unclear about a couple of things.

1. Were the guinea pigs similar in body type, size, composition, etc.?

2. Were the Winstrol pigs given equivalent doses as the Testosterone pigs? It looks as though the Test pigs got more Test than the Stanazolol pigs got of Winstrol. Is this so?

3. How and where can I sign up to be a guinea pig in the next study?

This study only confirms what I've always said from past experience......TEST + WINNY = LEAN MUSCLE GROWTH

Also worth note on this study is the comparison of these two on metabolic rate.Test increased BMR by 4% while winstrol ramped it up by 12%,from the hypogonadal to eugonadal phases...Pretty impressive numbers.

Let's clear this up a bit....

That actual line is this

"Like urinary nitrogen, the basal metabolic rate showed the greatest change between the hypogonadal and eugonadal states (12%; P < 0.02), with a lesser change during high dose testosterone treatment (4%). "

Let's stop and define hypogonadal and eugonadal

hypogonadal = is the testes not producing sufficient amounts of testosterone, which leads to the development of any number of symptoms...

eugonadal = men who have normal levels of testosterone

In the study they only compare basal metabolism on 3 levels.

Hypoganadal, Eugonadal and with endogenous levels of TEST.

So what this means is men with average levels of test have 12% higher metabolism than men that have below average levels of test.

The High Test users only had a 4% higher metabolism than the normal testosterone group.

I see no mention of winstrol in that sentence.

I have read several articles supporting these findings. One other additional piece: Test increases insulin sensitivity in previously diagnosed insulin sensitive patients. (these patients are not necessarily diabetic). If HGH was cheap, there would be no issue. Since HGH is expensive for most people, this type of research is encouraging. I feel that supraphysiologic doses of Test coupled with Aromasin will raise GH/IGF-1 levels, improve basal metabolism, and improve glucose metabolism.

Anyone notice that their "high doses" aren't that high at all according to the advice which gets posted on this board?

3mg/kg/week of enanth for me (100kg) would be 300mg/week. And the winstrol would be 10mg/day (0.1mg/kg/day). HMMMmm

nice............

huck.......as always you post the some of the most informative info around. another 'cut and paste'.........shit, i may just create a folder titled huck..........:)
