Sick

Just wondering if you guys continue to workout when your are sick. I managed to get back into the gym for a week and then I got sick, and due to being sick and school work I will have taken a week off from the gym after only being back fora week...fucking sucks
 
I haven't been ill for a long while (must be all the healthy food I'm eating :D ) but I would take a break from the weights if I were to get sick. Besides, my body would probably appreciate it anyway.
 
im coming down with something, but im trying to head it off with some antibiotics... i will be in the gym today :)

I almost always train while sick. Seems I recover from the sickness faster when I do. Just try to take in alot of vitamin c, and OJ.
 
Ive heard that its better to work out while your sick...But to me its a wake up call for me to rest.
 
someone lse said it another post....if your sickness is from the neck up train, below that dont...ie: if its in your lungs/chest, dont train. Seems to work for me.
 
I was just about to ask the same question. I came down with something today and im feeling pretty sick. I haven't had a week off in awhile, but I didn't want to take that week off until the last week of November. Its mostly a really bad head cold and bad allergies though, and dont think im gonna be able to train, atleast for today :(
 
i had been out for 7 weeks with a shoulder injury and finally got back into it, but within a week I got a pretty nasty cold....but working out wasnt the only concern, it was also feeling well enough to perform on my upcoming exam....i took 4 days off, then said fuck it im giong back to the gym which i did and today i feel pretty good
