shoulder recovery

You should be able to do shoulders the next day. Just pay attention to how sore you are from your chest workout. If working your shoulders sooner feels like you're overstressing the upper body, give somemore time to recover.
 
Not if your triceps get involved.

I'd just not follow a routine that specialises on certain bodyparts on different days, rather, one that involves the whole body each workout from different angles each workout.
