shoulder question

my workout partner and i just started a new routine this week and shoulder day is the day after chest.since my shoulders take a decent beating on chest day do you think 3 sets db military, 3 sets side laterals, and 3 sets bent over laterals is enough volume? all sets done in the 6-10 rep range.
 
The volume is good for me.

I use the same routine and it works for me. My current workout schedule is as follows:
Chest/Tris
Back/Bis
Legs/Shoulders
Rest
Repeat

I have used many different combinations over the years but have sen the most growth with this combination which I have used for a few months now. It is probably time to change it up again though:mix:
