wtf... well, guess i won't be renewing next month if this shit keeps going on. I stay out of most of the drama but this is about our damn privacy and personal security.

I respect velvett and her decision to not "clutter" the board so i will state in here what i stated in the other thread.
I think that the only people who should be allowed to view ip addys are admin and admin alone.
I dont see why a mod should need to know people ip addresses, there is no point to it.Maybe only let the 3 banning mods see but not all of them.And the chairpeople sure as hell should not be allowed to see them.

Something I've learned around here is MOD's/Admins don't "listen" to threats.........

They like constructive criticism and when given a short amount of time to digest it, - they usually listen to the masses.

I am gambling and betting this will happen

Ok Special invite only to supposedly trusted people, however it was only a few months ago that Satch/Indy were treated like god here.

Would they of got an invite, I think so.
Would you want them to know your Ip address, I think not.

So how does would George know whom to trust? Pure guess work probably..

I don't think IP's should be recorded at all - period.

We all expect some anonymity here. The mere fact that every post we have has our IP's stuck to it and anyone with some money can now come in and buy it is reprehensible.

Not long ago I specifically remember posts honoring GS for fighting the feds when they attempted to get information from him - now GS is willing to sell some of that info to anyone who has $900?

This is unacceptable. I am glad I was waiting until the end of the semester to send in my money for a lifetime membership. I refuse to join and support a site that is not looking ouy for the interests of its members.

As far as I am concerned this is my last post - I cannot trust anyone who is willing to sell our information. There is absolutely no honor in that.
