Should selling IP's to CHAIRMEN BE STOPPED BY GEORGE?

Exactly what I am thinking. This might be just some small project he started years ago on the side, as if just a hobbie. He can probably absorb a loss here and not even feel it in the pocket book. Lately here it seems that the focus has changed from genuine honest interest in bodybuilding to making as much income as you can. Its almost as if someone else is running the show.

His revenue has "obviously" increased as of late - and a lot of changes are being made around here - I just hope that "we" - the members of Elite - reap the rewards of the above..........

I didnt read the whole thread. I came here only to vote to help out if possible for GS to take that privilege away from the Chairman people. Redgurus post was on the first page.

By no mods or admin answering to this thread yet should tell everybody something...They are playing with everybody ... Cancel your subscription....problem solved..Dont let it go on and on hearing every excuse in the book once they decide how to play us for some more money....

That's what I've been wondering the whole time - the only one actively posting is MAC, but to his defense, he may not know anything.

What is the purpose of this anyway? Why would anyone want IP addresses? And to what benefit to anyone does selling them have except putting money in George's pocket? Who the hell came up with this gay idea? So not only will there be no privacy, but security will be compromised, authorities will have more avenues to obtain IP addresses (if they aren't involved in this already; I really can't see any other reason this would even come about), and a great community will be ruined. I don't get it???

Good point - I can see the feds wanting IP addresses. Especially people that trusted George and have static IP's.

None of the above, maldorf. When EF hurts, George hurts, and we've had a bad couple of months at our ISP. We had to scramble to keep the site up last month after a big chunk of our networking hardware got fried. (You may have noticed I've been even crankier than usual? Twenty-hour days do that.)

I agree with everything Erzulie said -- except for the part about the PMs. George paid a developer to take away the default ability for admins to read PMs three major versions back, and has paid again to keep it that way with every major update.

We expected better of the new Chaircritters; we didn't provide them with a handbook, and I think it's been an eye-opening experience. The cynical might say "Hey, maybe there's a reason these guys weren't already mods, y'know?" Well, let's not go that far.

As for why mods and admins haven't been posting in this thread -- I'm not about to put words in George's mouth, and I imagine most of the mods feel the same way (speaking only for myself). I would suggest you wait for George to respond. Thanks.
