ok, i am moving in the very near future, and since i need to keep costs down some, i am looking for a roommate. i found some what-seem-to-be, semi-decent people on those roommate finders that are renting out rooms, but im not sure which way to go. guy or girl?

all of my mae roommates have been chronic masturbators who never leave, angry, closeted homosexuals who cry (loudly) during sex with chicks, guys who do more drugs than belushi and river phoenix put together, and total fucking slobs.

so which way to go? guys have been no good so far, but females are usually bat-shit, fuckin crazy.

I had a guy roomate once - worked out well - we went to his family on the weekends. He was a neat freak that liked to eat my food and would clean up the kitchen in trade - and he made the best espresso.

i live with two females now, and i would never wish this hell on anyone.

if you live with a chic, make sure she's clean. otherwise you have to deal with shit that you don't want to associate with girls. like leg/giney-town shavings left all over the bathtub, long hairs all over the fucking floor, female products taking up too much space in the bathroom, etc.

then god forbid you get somewhat involved with one of her friends, but you want to bring home some tail on the side, that shit doesn't fly with a girl roommate.

back in uni i was sharing and had both, the girls were far nicer, neater, and that male/female dialogue you always hve happening makes it really hard to argue, and it works nicely

the guys on the other hand.......slobs, inconsiderate (music loud, bringing their mates over to hang out, not cleaning properly even when tehy did try (rare).....screw them

Hahaha... Yes this can be a problem at times but at first I would warn my roommate. Now he can tell lays low and tries not to be such a dumbass in those few days of the month. He and I get along pretty well but we knew each other before we became roommates and I think that helps a lot.
