short cycles no pct

Here is a hypothetical question I have been pondering seeing as PCT costs so much more than the actual gear. Say a guy is just using test alone and wants to do without pct how many weeks on can he go and not have to worry about using any HCG or Nolva ( 'cept of course to control any gyno ). I know I read this somewhere but I can't remember where so maybe someone can just fill me in please

even with 2 weeks pct is advised. I wouldn't go over a week without it.

actually youi tried it twice BUT it depends on your initial natural hormonal levels. I am not recommending to do it blindly unless you could handle the risk

From someone who did this in their foolish youth - don't.
If you can't affort the PCT, don't do the juice.

how bad IS it exactly to not use a pct? I'm of course going to, but what is the worst short term/long term effects you guys have experienced. Also, I was wondering if the body EVER returns to normal if you just stop w/o PCT
