Shaving Head/Cutting Hair?

I thought it might be better for me to just learn how to cut my hair as opposed to going to get it done by some shitty place.
Well, say im only going to shave it.. like brad pitt from fight club, do i just need an electic shaver?
And if im actually doing regular cutting.. where can i find the materials for that? And info on how to do it?

Ive never heard of anyone doing that before, if you have any hair now I dont see how you could use an electric razor to shave your head, its not made for hair that long.

Dont use a facial hair electric shaver, it will take longer and be aggrivating. I use a pair of ConAir Hair Clippers, the kind the barbers use and plugs into the wall. I use it with no attachments on the end, so i get the closest cut. I cut it myself infront of the bathroom mirror about once to twice a week to keep it close and looking good. Once you do it yourself a few times, it becomes very easy. It may hurt a little on the back of your neck but it's not as bad as the barber would nick me up. Go over it good once, making sure to go bottom to top on the back of your head plenty of times. You dont want to miss anythign and have a big strip of hair on the back of your head. I trim it all once over, rinse my head off in the shower to get rid of all the hair, then dry, then go over it again quickly making sure it's all even and such, then get the full shower.

Cutting my hair myself has saved me so much money. Some barbers/hairstylists charge an arm and a leg....i like it free. Best of luck.

wahl makes the best clippers... bar none. You will get what you pay for. Some of the shittier ones will even knick your skin and cause bleeding... yick.
