IMO its a shame politicians have to cater to any race, age, or any other category. i think it just helps divide us. but i understand it.
the blacks voted pretty solid this last go around, now in the future when hispanics overtake the blacks nationally in population, your right, thier voting power should be greater.
i know TX hispanics and i think floridas voted republican, but do you know how the californian, new york, and new jersey hispanics voted? these states are the ones with the larger hispanic community. and growing.
as far as the puerto ricans, the flip side to that may be the cubans in florida and elsewhere voting republican due to the incident regarding elian(sp...the kid that was rescued at see) we'll see.
