Diversity is great, but people have to remember this is America. Once you move here you are an American. If well all go off into out little ethnic groups and stay away from each other eventually you'll have alot of infighting. I'm not saying forget where you came from, by all means bring a little culture from your country here-its what makes America great. I'm just worried when you go to a place like south Florida where they think its Cuba and get mad if anyone white even goes there. C'mon people mingle its great!! I work for a major semi-conductor company, my partner is from Syria, one engineer is from Indian, another from Tailand, two from Korea and one from Japan. Oh yea two others from Poland and Russia. The workers are a mix of Vietnemese, Korean plus African Americans. As a white male I'm a minority here!!! LOL And yea its a great place to work, there are no "groups" here. I go to lunch and break with my Syrian partner and my African american friend. Being exposed to other cultures is a great way to expand your awareness.

i want to thank everyone that has posted here so far, for not turning this into a negative racist thread. i've been shot and stabbed b4. no problems. but when you speak of the hate and prejuidice that exist here in our world, that cuts right to the bones. truly hurts my heart.
