Even though I had my Shake, glutamine, creatine 30 min ago, or should I just call it a night????????

unless the shae was postworkout....always add some fat into a shake before bed.

I bought the 'unflavored' powder creatine last night and I just mixed it in my protein shake with the glutamine and you can't taste either one.
Shadow question on the creatine: The article I read said women load the first four days with about 20g of creatine split into two sessions then drop to 5g a day. Is that true?
 
nope...loading is not necessary.....you dont get the "immediate" benefits, but they will still be there...a little at a time and you dont:

1 - Waste 90% of the load

2 - Dont have gastric distress

It'll be even more hillarious if someone follows my log and does consume that much creatine and then they feel like they are going to pop with gastric distress. Yeah I think my imagination is more amusing and likely, then someone actually following and consuming it.

Well I eat enough food at 1700 cal. I actually feel pretty good with the food level. Not sure if I'm over doing the calories, but I think it's pretty good for trying to gain muscle. What do you think? You saw the photos.
 
Ithink its a good stating point.....everyone responds differently.......after two weeks and a follow up bf test we can fine tune
 
The last BF test I did was on JAN 12th, so I'll give you an update on the 26th then? That will be 10 days after I had my original photos done. The last time I measured was also JAN 12th. My weight has fluctuated though in the past week. Could be due to the time of month. Jan 12th = 138.8, Jan 13th = 137.2, Jan 14th = 135.8, Jan 17th = 137.4, Jan 18th = 137.4, Jan 19th = 136.2
Weight is taken in the morning, after using the bathroom every day.

I did the extra 'one arm rows' cause I LOVE THEM :mix: :mix:
I also did the extra cause I do not feel it working in my back when I do the pullovers.
Also, I've had 3 personal trainers in the past 3 years, and each have a little different direction on the seated rows... my question is; does my back stay straight, does not move or do I extend forward with the cable for a stretch????

YES - DROP THE ONE ARM ROWS OR THE SEATED ONES...SAME EXERCISE...IF YOU KEEP THE ONE ARM DBS...BU SURE TO PULL AS IF YOU ARE STARTING A LAN MOVER - IE - NOT STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN

the pulldowns will build strength.........to then do a chin.

Thanks guys. I have been trying to do this for years. Wasn't till now that I have seen ANY results like this :) Before I think I was eating way to little / wrong foods & doing much to much cardio.

Shadow - you are my fav person in the world right now :)

And you ladies are so supportive, this would be hard for me if I didn't spend 20 hrs a day on EF :lmao:

So, Shadow - how did you do it? I have had MANY people tell me how to eat / train, never really noticed much. Thing is, I'm not starving, and the max time I'm at the gym is 1hr15per day (ONLY on cardio days) :rainbow:

3 sets of 8-10 on hypers and 30 seconds each exercise onthe abs(total of 1 minute per cycle)

His comments to me included: I eat too much, (should be eating only 3 x's per day) I SHOULD not by any means be taking creatine, and I should be doing cardio at LEAST 5 days a week :worried:

During this 5 min conversation he told me 3 times how he is 2.4% BF year round, and I should listen to him. He would give me a few 'free' sessions, and than I could get a 'deal' of 50 for $31 per session I told him that it was sad how he's a PT & believes that 1 program works for everyone, and to leave me the $&%@ alone - you are interupting my supersets

I think all the PT's are giving these ladies how BF% so them will book in with them, how else could they be so far off?

I had a positive experience today at the gym.
I was approched by the PT that did my BF% and he too offered to train me.
we went to his office (I had to book another bf% test anyway) and I told him what I was doing (showed him my little PINK log book) and he agreed with EVERYTHING!!! just told me to make sure I get enough carbs for the day, says allot of women get to focused on that issue. so he said well obviously you are doing fine and if I ever see him training when I am, then feel free to train with him... ahhhhh oh ya and commented on my abs, said he hasn't seen abs on a female like that in this gym besides Stephamnie Worsfold... THAT MADE MY DAY!!!!!!!

"Do you not see me carrying around a log book running from machine to machine like I know what I'm doing?" "You better go help that guy over their with his posture trying to be a macho man lifting way to much!"
They pretty much leave you alone after that. They all think you are a b*tch, and that's fine with me. Then I can continue on with my routine.

Yeah, I hear ya. I don't really want to come accross as bitchy, but I think you almost have to, to be left alone. Even the walkman doesn't avoid the 'stop & chats' sometimes :rolleyes:

Haha, I can't lie, sometimes I don't even have batteries in it!

Not all trainers are like that, to me it seems mostly the newer ones who are trying to build a clientele.

Like I said before, I don't trust ANY freeking trainer who says I *MUST* do things a certain way because there is absolutely no other way to do it except that way. FUCK HIM UP HIS GODDAMMFUKINASSHOLE.
 
Should I be dropping cals now?

Does this seem correct? I think the ratios for the diet are 45/25/30 (fr Trelin)

126 x10 = 1260 cals per day

Calories per gram:
fat = 9
carb = 4
pro = 4

Shooting for 1 gr of P for every lb = 504 cals = 40%
so - 45 % is 567 cals & 142 gr. P

Carbs should be about 25%
so 79 gr. Carbs = 315 cals

Fat should be about 30%
so 42 gr. fat = 378 cals

Does that look good to follow?

I cant believe this a trainer telling you it is better to eat 3 times a day... what a loser... He just wants you on his client list so he can brag to the fat peeps that he trains you so they better train with him... Or he just wants to get you in the sack... Why is it that men think it is okay to hit on girls while we are working out? I would really like to know the answer to this... We are at the gym, sweating like crazy and some meathead comes over "hey baby want to come to my place tonight?" what the fuck... Yeah I would love to... And while I am at it how about I use you for my personal towel to wipe all my sweat onto....

Yeah, I hear ya. I don't really want to come accross as bitchy, but I think you almost have to, to be left alone. Even the walkman doesn't avoid the 'stop & chats' sometimes :rolleyes:
Yup I have the MP3 player on full blast and they come up and I just look at them. Then they make the gesture like take your head phones off. I'm like mannn you have better something Reallll good to say!
