Seziure letter! I order domestic

DOU12

New member
I never recieved a package from a well known domestic source this summer. It was all over the boards that he went scammer or was busted. I just now recieved a seizure letter and it had the estimated value of my products at $635. I think that is exactly how much I sent. Is this the same as getting a seizure letter from trying to order from overseas or will something actually happen since it was in the US? I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but someone came by with a certified letter. I was not home and I have to sign for it so they will be coming back. I have no idea why I would be getting a certified letter. Thanks for any help.

Well, if he was busted perhaps they tracked down the pack right before or as it was shipping and seized it. They are likely trying to get a hold of you to apply some pressure and get you to testify against the source in question. If I were you I would clean house and play dumb. Dont let them in and simply tell them you didnt order anything and have no idea what they are talking about, if they persist get a lawyer.

P.S. Never have anything sent to your house again.

I'm 90% sure that I know what you are talking about and who you are talking about. If this is the same person that I am thinking about, (FL) the certified letter is just to inform you that your money was conficated and inform you of what rights that you have to appeal. Those that have I have been in contact with that had a similiar problem, never heard anything more about it, not yet anyhow. The letters have been drifting in over the last six months. I wouldn't worry because this person also non controlled supplements as well, and that is what you were ordering right. Remember it is not a crime to send money through the mail. Never answer any questions without a lawyer present if questioned by anyone for any reason. :)

is it possible maybe he took your money here in the u.s. and your order ships from overseas, in that case it got caught by customs just like you ordered from overseas?

I am guessing that what you got was a Postal Inspection Notice, not a seizure notice. The source you ordered from is probally being investigated, and they confiscated all packages sent to him and sent Postal Inspection notices to all the return addys, they also sent you a copy of the same thing by cerified mail so they will know you get it, reall y you have no problem, unless you decide to contest it, just take your losses and don't do anything.
