I dunno why Im posting this but maybe someone has a similar goal or just wants to lose weight so so so bad.
About 8 months ago I ran the crum diet for 6 weeks lost a ton of weight, I was about 6'2 198lbs. I had about 8% bodyfat and was still too big to do runway modeling, my measurements didnt fit the criteria. I then turned to what I call severe dieting. I was trying to lose as much fat, and I even wanted to lose a little muscle. THis was my goal remember, I dont recomend this for every one.
I basiclly did 1 hour of cardio 6-7 days a week, and if i felt enegetic I would add another session on a day. I lifted M--F, doing full body workouts. I would do 2 sets, and 2 exercises per bodypart, and I would rest 30seconds, and really move. I did abs 3 times a week, 4 sets of crunches, and 4 sets of reverse crunches.
My diet
My diet was very simple, and probally not the best idea for everyone. I wanted to weigh 178lbs. I took the weight I wanted to weigh, X 10 and got 1800 cals, i rounded up. Then I would eat, I knew that if I ate good , and plenty the weight would roll off.
typical day
8am
1/2cup oats cinnamon, equal
1 scoop whey
250cals,
10 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 10 egg whites,
300cals
11 WORKOUT, or nothing,
12pm oatmeal, scoop of whey, on workout days, Non workout days, 1 cup of oats no whey
300cals
3pm 9 SPicy tuna rolls, I love sushi,
300cals
6pm 1 Cliff Bar,
240cals
9pm Eggs, egg sandwhich, whatever protein is needed
300
Throw in a granola bar, or somethign extra to reach the rest of the days totals. Basiclly I just kept eating enough to put fuel in my tank and never overflow.
THis diet worked extremely well for me, it is all about will power, I dropped that weight, and I even placed in the MR PReakness contest in Baltimore. I got a few modeling jobs, and decided I wanted to get into fitness modeling. 180lbs was great, but 210 at 10% bodyfat is good as well. Im shooting for 215 at 7%.
Here is a pic at 180

I stayed at 180 for a long time. I think if I would have waited 3 more months my body would have reached a set point and stayed there.
I remember going on a vacation and drinking eating, and I put on about 12 lbs, probally 4 water, 3 fat, and 5 muscle. I guess my point is to lose a large amount of weight you have to reach that goal then work extremely hard to stay there for a given period of time. The worst part is going from an amazing six pack to just a flat stomach. That is probally the worst feeling int he world, so let me stress, if you spend 6-12 weeks getting to 6% bodyfat, you should strive to stay around there. Why suffer to look so good, then let it all slip away.
