Serious advice sought by beginner

I'm a 40 year old male (5' 11" 168) and have been hitting the gym pretty regularly for ten years. I plateaued early after I put on 10-15 lbs of mass. I was pretty skinny in the beginning. Anyway, I have always wanted to put on some serious size and get cut up/veined up and have decided to do a cycle or two to see what happens. I've recently been taking Havoc with so so results. I have been in the gym 5-6 times a week, have increased my cardio and eat non stop. I have experienced no noticeable negative side effects (maybe some irritability?). If I am super serious about getting bigger/more cut and want to move on to something stronger what can you more experienced guys recommend? What exactly can I expect to experience and what changes might I see in my body.

If you are truly eating like crazy and taking havoc and not gaining there is something wrong with your training or with you.

At 5'11 any man on this earth can get to at least 185 with out the help of any dug of any kind. Just more food. Even at your age.

I am truly just wanting to help... But I am willing to bet you do not know exactly how many cals a day you are taking in and where they are all coming from do you?

IE
total daily cals
total daily grams of protein
total grams of carbs per day
total grams of protein per day.


Can you tell me these numbers exactly or at least in general? The words ( I eat non stop) really means nothing. Just means in your head you think you are eating a lot, which may turn out to be not a lot at all. Or a whole hell of a lot but just not the right stuff.

SO I would love to help you. Love love love to. Please tell me how many daily cals a day you take in and from where. Lets start with that. If you do not know its better to just say "I do not know" and we can start to help you.

you eat non stop, but what exactly do you eat?? haha
a test enanthate at 500 mgs every week for 10-12 weeks will be a great first cycle. you dont have any problems with injections do you?? start pct a week after last injection.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. maybe I'm not eating enough. I'm not eating junk that's for sure. Do you have any diet/meal plan advice? What's the best way to keep track of your calories in your experience? I really appreciate your advice. Have you had good results with test enanthate at 500? I've never injected anything, but I don't think that I would have a problem if it's going to get me jacked.
 
If you dont have your diet and training in check, and it sounds like you dont then your just going to lose the little you gain on your cycle. Why not tap the breaks and put on some natural muscle first? 5,11 at 168 not so good. Im also a little confused as to what you want to try to do?

Im probably the least experienced here so take my advice for what its worth. haha hundreds ; ) kidding! ok but really how about this? first off tell us what your workout routine is. get specific. people will be better able to help you. it sounds like at 5'11 your workout or your diet is not where it needs to be for what your goals are. I would suggest first off you get yourself a watch. set it to go off every 3 hours. everytime it goes off eat! protein! protein! protein! if you dont feel like you have to shit or throwup chances are your not eating enough. So you eat like this get your calories, carbs, protein, fats all in order and get your workout in order and you will start growing. you say you increased your cardio? why would you increase your cardio if you want to bulk up? cut out your cardio and lift some heavy weight. i would suggest a 5x5 program adding weight every week. you want to be cut and big, dont we all. i know few begeners who can actually gain a bunch of muscle and keep it all lean. what im saying is with you all your eating, which is the only way your gonna be able to put up the weight that will give you the muscle size you want you will aslo be gaining some fat. wich is the oposite of getting "cut" so the idea is when you are all huge and happy with your muscle size you cut the calories back slowly (at this point you should be logging them and have a better knowledge of what your eating and why your eating it) thus cutting back the fat in your body and becoming "cut". if you cut right now what would that put you at? 150-160? are you happy with your muscle size at the moment? If your not then eat and hit those weights heavy heavy heavy. progresive overload. add weight every week. I suggest you read up and work harder before doing a cycle. i dout you plateud only 10-15 lbs after your starting weight.
 
lol the amount of times i have heard some one say " i eat non stop" or 'i eat like a horse" and then they shit themselves when the realize what OUR meaning of eating like a horse means, At 5'11 , 168lbs cut the cardio+ give us a example of what you eat in a day, it will make helping you out much easier

not looking too bad but I would add more protein in the form of beef fish or chicken. Also that looks like it would probably maintain your weight. You want to be eating more than that.
