Separate muscle workouts

I go to the gym 5 x a week. I know everyone is different, but i was thinking of working on 1 muscle a day. Do you guys think that would be effective?
 
A friend of mine did it, and had great success. Chest/Back/Legs/Shoulders/Arms. I did not care for it, but to each his own.
 
what is your experience and are you going to be cycling?
 
I mean with my genetics my body tones up very quickly regardless of how i do my training. But im thinking of focusing on one muscle group a day to see how that works, and wanted to see some opinions.

As far as cycling... I was thinking of doing a Test E / Anavar cycle.. But for now im doing it natural.

how long you been lifting?
 
for about 2 to 3 years now, on and off, but have been consistent over the last 6 months

in my opinion i think you working out 5 times a week like this would be over training, but.........if that is what have your mind set to, show us the regimine you plan on using (each day planned out).
 
Well with separate muscle work outs, i was thinking
Monday - Chest
tuesday - Back
Wednesday - Shoulders
Saturday - Legs
Sunday - Arms

i was referring to what exercises you would do each day, show us your complete detailed routine you plan on using (sets and reps scheme as well)
 
i havent gotten that down yet, i just wanted to get the idea of working out on separate muscles.. Maybe you can help me put together a routine?
