Last time I helped someone move; it was my old roommates gf. That fucker promised me pizza. After busting my ass for hours he then proceeded to offer me the last crusty piece left from the pizza he & the gf had the day before. I wanted to strangle his punk ass. It's been 10 years and if I saw him right now I'd kick him in the rectum just for that.

For me it's the damn "acquaintances" who rarely call you and then when it's time to move they act like they're your best friend. These are the same people who complain about their back problems when it's time for you to move. My ex-wife would volunteer "us" to help her friends move all of the time which meant while I was lugging heavy shit with her friends boyfriend/husband they would hold the doors and bullshit.

I only have one friend in town and I took half a day off from work to help him move this Summer. I bend over backwards to help my friends but other people can fuck off.
