seeing the doc tomorrow for pre-op

Ok, I just finished a dbol/t200/EQ cycle, last shots were 10 days ago. It was originally supposed to go 10 weeks but decided to cut it short due to a knee surgery I'm having. Anyway tomorrow I go in for a preop appt and wanted to know if there is anything to be worried about, or if i should disclose the AS use. I went in to the ER about 4 weeks ago for a cut on my index finger that had to be stitched. The doc stitching me had a hard time stopping the bleeding and asked if i was taking any anti inflammatories. I've been taking 800-2400mg/day motrin and naproxen occasionally. She told me to stop taking them cause of the blood thinning effect, that they might effect the scoping of my knee. It was hard not to grin, i figured the thin blood was from the gear. Does anyone know if there is blood work done at this time and should I worry about the surgery possibly being postponed? Appreciate any info you bros can provide.

tell him the truth bro. can only benifit from it. they cant say anything outside the two of you, plus it will help him decide on what drugs if any to give you. good luck with the surgury!!

Don't even think twice about it! Tell your Doc. At the very worse you will get a lecture. At best you could be avoiding problems with the surgery.

Definately tell them so they know that your blood pressure could be off base. Also they may need to know if anything they may give you will react with the AAS.

Thanks for the advice guys. Only a few people know I juice, gonna seem weird to talk to a doc about it- might actually be entertaining to see just how much a surgeon knows about gear hehe

Well I told the doc all the details of my cycle and he was cool about it. But this just goes to show how well informed a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon is:

Me: "I used testosterone enanthate, equipoise, and dianabol"
Him: "I'm not too familiar with this, do you take those orally or inject them?"
Me: "The dianabol is an oral, the test and EQ are injectable"
Him: "EQ?"
Me: "Equipoise"
Him: "Oh, I see. I can see you're an intelligent person who seems to have made an informed decision. However from a physician's perspective I can tell you the long-term disadvantages outweigh the advantages...blah blah blah"
Me: <nodding head stupidly> "Uhuh" <begin counting ceiling tiles duing his 2 minute spiel>

He suggested I have some blood work done to check liver, kidneys, immune system just to make sure everythings squared. Which is cool since I'm wondering myself how everythings holding up after a cycle, especially my liver. I'm glad I told him though, thanks again for the support and advice bros.

I thin you did the right thing, and it helps that the doctor was pretty cool about it too. Good luck with the surgery bro

Good man! This thread should be left as a sticky for all the kids with worse problems that are afraid of going to the doc. You had to know the lecture was coming, he basically has no choice but to do that. Would have done the same thing if you told him you smoked pot once a month. Now you have nothing to worry about.
I'm happy for ya.
Good luck with the surgery bro,
