Why am I still single...hmmm.. I never know how to answer that one. Because no one will have me? :)

I guess because I have yet to meet that 'special someone'.. and in the meantime I'm very happy doing my own thing.. If I meet someone intriguing, I'd want to get involved, but not just to pass the time or to alleviate boredom..

And mabye I'm a bit too much of a hermit, I don't know. :)

Damn Seashell, such a crime that a woman like you is single. I love women who are "happy doing there own thing" and don't NEED a man to complete their lives. It's so much better when a woman chooses to be with you not because she feels she has to, but because she simply wants to. Such a big difference between the two.

Most of the women I've met since my divorce have the maturity of a college freshman (in their 30's) and feel so empty and worthless without a man to guide them through life. If only I could find a woman who didn't want me as a crutch for their lack of self esteem...

Oh, and love the new avatar. Very sexy.

Good luck this weekend, darlin! I hope you like him but you shouldn't worry. You are beautiful and have a great personality from what I can tell from the board. In any case, you have the right attitude about it. Live your life and keep your eyes open. The right one will come along.
 
What the heck is wrong with an attractive female being single?

I hate the fact that most women feel thay have to be in a relationship to be happy. The ones that jump from relationship to relationship. They get on my nerves.

Enjoy being single Seashell and don't settle for the sake of it. You're doing the right thing.

Hmmmm.... It's a shame you don't lived close by, if nothing else we could be good friends and I would have a good partner for leg day. If you are a real trooper I might let you spot me on chest day.

I get the feeling you are very picky and particular about the guys you date... You are single is for a reason, you probably make it real hard for a guy to approach you. Sure you are cool as hell here on EF where guys are far and away talking to you thru their PC. I get the feeling you put up your guard as soon as a guy is right in front of you...

Nothing wrong with being picky. I'm picky about the women I date because I want to be happy, not just "in a relationship" for the sake of spending time with someone. I'd rather be alone and doing my own thing than be with someone I don't really like. I get the feeling Seashell is somewhat similar; picky simply because she knows what she wants and isn't willing to settle.

Why did I stay single till 36? If you are happy with who you are and don't need someone, you wait until the right one comes along. There very well could be a long lineup, doesn't mean it is a good lineup.

Trust me, she is cool!

:D Being "picky" always strikes me as "his hair isn't right, I don't like him" type of thing..I wouldn't say I'm like that at all. However, like Forge said, I do know what I want, and I see no reason to settle for less.

That said, I'm not expecting perfection, as I certainly can't offer that myself. :)

And there is no need to "guard" myself from anything, I don't fall head over heels for that many ppl... :D
