Scott McClellan - Lying for the White House

AAP

Plat Hero
Platinum
another Bushie aide comes clean and tells how he had to lie to cover up for Bushie and Co.

Yeah yeah.... I can hear the crying about "liberals" and such... he's a fucking repub and calling the Prez and cohorts bald face liars and crooks.

No wonder no candidate wants Bushie to endorse them...

Your very much into politics aren't you AAP?
Good to know someone on here at least takes a great interest in current affairs

If that were the case, Bush wouldn't be sitting on the lowest numbers in history would he? He wouldn't be directly responsible for the abandonment of his own crew at an all man for himself rate would he? Then the liberals would be the ones mired over and over each month in new scandals, indictments, and sentencing wouldn't they.

Since it isn't, it's not.

what's funny is you think that these scandals are inherently republican.
the same scandal done by a dem doesn't draw your ire

when the presidency has been democratic, the scandals come from that party and vice versa, or do you have a short memory... nothings changed. I was wondering AAP, your obviously into the political goings on, why don't you ever post the shit that comes out about the dems? You want to tell one side of the poltical shit that hits the news and hope nobody notices the other side or what? just wondering....

Name the scandals the Dems have done in the last 4 years that I must have missed. I haven't read of a Dem being nailed in a bathroom sting or call girl operation. I must have missed the Dem Inspect-Innocent-Girls-Twats scandal. Where are the same scandals done by Dems?

I only report the news, I don't make it. I leave the making the news up to the Repubs and their bathroom, bribery, theft antics. If you don't like the news, then write a letter telling the Repubs to reel in their scandalous party members.

ok ok ok people ENOUGH
that is why i dont talk politics, it can be a very heated discussion
There are two sometimes three of more sides to EVERY STORY

Not so bro. You missed the bashing I do of McKinney everytime her name surfaces in something. Jefferson too.

Then again, there really isn't much of the Dems to report on. What is their latest scandal? I must have missed it from last month with all the coverage of Allen, Vitter, Craig, Richard Curtis, L Roberts, Clutzo the Clown, Graham, Difatta, Stenico, R Roberts, Placa, Paulk, Sweeney, Klaudt, Wilkes (in a hot tub with Cunningham... gross..) Gonzales, Stevens, and gosh... that isn't even going back further to the Delay, Ney, Jackyoff, era. This is just last month, month/half at most.

Where are the Dem scandals and indictments? The Repubs have had 6 years of investigative/subpoena/ethics committee control. If Dems are as corrupt as claimed, where are the investigations? The indictments?? Where??? Where??????????

LOL, like I said, you only post what you think will help the Dems cause. We read the news too. Granted, they have given plenty of shit for the liberals and thier lib controlled papers to write about, no doubt. But lets talk Sandy Berger (sp) and stuffing the top secret documents in to his pants and hiding them at the construction site, the 90K bribary money found in the Dem senator's freezer, and the Sho (sp) fundraising scandal, and how many dishwashers can contribute the top amout to Billory to name a few...
Some how you didn't make a thread on those AAP, why?

Jefferson - already covered that. See above.

Sho - umm... which Dem was charged, indicted, or arrested in that one? None that I know of. Hmm... how many were in the Jackyoff scandal? How many even paid back the money involved in that scandal? Hmmm?

Berger - if the papers were lib controlled, we would have never heard about this huh?

Speaking of which, saying the media is lib controlled is useless. Because court rulings, court documents, and court sentencing is free of media influence. Those are public records. Not news stories, editorials, or opinionated pieces. Pretty cut and dried right there.

You named 2 above, the 3rd is a nonissue at all. 2. You had to go all the way back to what? 2004 to get one of them. 2 from the last three years. I named how many from the last 2 months?

Reading that link.. (especially this part)
-----

By Friday afternoon, Governor Corzine, as well as the Senate president, Richard J. Codey; the Assembly speaker, Joseph J. Roberts Jr.; and the state Democratic chairman, Joseph P. Cryan, had called on the two legislators to resign. Several high-ranking Democrats, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said that they expected the two — Assemblyman Mims Hackett Jr., who is also the mayor of Orange, and Assemblyman Alfred E. Steele, a Passaic County undersheriff — to step down within days.

Democrats who had read all 44 pages of the supporting material accompanying the criminal complaints said they were shocked and disgusted by the accusations of cash payouts and expletive-filled boasts about vote-rigging.

-------

Makes me wonder why Dems will openly call for the resignation and yet, how many Repubs called for Delay, Ney, Cunningham, Stevens etc.. to resign? Hmmm.... wonder why?

Living in DC, having interned on Capitol Hill, and most friends/classmates in related fields working on the Hill, I can say with absolute certainty, most, regardless of party, have some very dirty secrets in their closets.

This country really needs to see past this whole polarization charade politicians and the media keep pushing. It just completely detracts energy from solving the real issues at hand.

"oooooooh pussy, bleeding heart ,anti-american liberals........ racist, facist, uneducated, greedy conservatives"

fuck off please.

They are powerful people in positions of authority.......

AAP, I used to do the same things like you do, I had lnks to every lib blunder imaginable, read the Drudge Report faithfully, the other conservative blogs, etc. I must have had atleast 50 copy and paste articles at my finger tips to backup anything that I was saying.
But as time went by, it got old ad I deleted the stuff. I found that i was all over the map in reality, no one party was addressing my concerns. As I think most all do.
I have just as much concern for the far right as the far left. I think that they both are so close they could hold hands with each other. They have no place in my political agenda.
I'm glad to see that you enjoy yourself, at least it appears that you do. In the grand scheme of things, that really all that matters isn't it....

Btw, it will be very iteresting when Bloomberg enters the race, I hope he picks Lieberman for a running mate, that will be a force to recon with...

Same here. Positions vary so wildly within parties, there isn't one the completely fits my political views.

:)

Of course, this is all for mere amusement and entertainment purposes. Anything to stir up controversy.

If an independent won, it would probably be 4 years of getting nothing done as Congress would bog the entire term down under indifferences.

I really don't think there is a party out there that embodies my ideals and views to the fullest.........which is why I don't ascribe to any of them. I look for what kind of person, what kind of "man" is trying to position himself in a place of authority. While I don't completely agree with a good portion of what the guy stands for...........Ron Paul is the only "man" I see running for president. Why people are so enamored with bullshitters is vexing to me...? We all know that everyone we see every night talking this and that.........is full of shit and is saying what he/she needs to say in order to win. Now if you look into that notion, it's a very clear indictment of americans and our fecklessness. Just tell us what we want to hear, and we'll go with it. Paul at least say's the things that he stands for and realizes that it makes alot of people cringe. But to say, "hey, he doesn't have a chance of winning so why vote for him"..........that's EXACTLY what the two parties want you to think about any candidate that doesn't come from them. Two heads of the same coin..............and we eat this opera up.

Nothing could be better then congress "getting nothing done"

Power corrupts. Ideally one party in the white house the other party in congress (slight majority). Why? So that they dont do ANYTHING. Federal government has overstepped its bounds in so many ways its frightening. Then again, at least we dont live in Europe (most of us).

it will resemble the congress now with their whopping 11% approval rating... LOL
