Apologies if this is a repost but do you folks think this is a fair comparison between Arnie and Coleman?

I've read on this forum several times about Arnies legs being thin blah blah. But it goes to show the size of Ronnies

Arnold had a much more "believable" physique. People though Arnie "might" be on steroids. When he came clean (lol!) people believed him when he said he only took some Primo and D-Bol to finish himself off for the Olympia.

However, he was taking juice by the truckload - Deca, Test, EQ, D-Bol, and Primo. But, he still had a very well defined physique unlike Ronnie who looks like an unnatural freak that can't control his use of GH.

However, if Arnie had access to HGH, he'd have taken that one by the truckload as well!!!

Arnold just flat out looks better, especially in the waist area. Coleman has more muscle but I think there is a point of diminishing returns where austhetics and health are compromised for sheer muscle size, and ronnie is way past that.

looks to me like arnold needed to hit up the squat rack! he didnt have the hourglass going on like coleman. not that im a pollsmoker - they both could kiss my ass.

Better symmetry. Legs twice the size than arnold's. And although you may not like his midsection, the same principle should apply to arnold. Arnold had huge arms and his legs never caught up with his upper body.

If anyone earned his retirement from BB Arnold did. What will we look like in our late 50's?

I think Arnold looks so much better and while there's no way to tell, I'm sure his AAS use is far less comprehensive than Coleman's.

I still enjoy looking at Arnold pictures even after all these years. The guy was in a class all his own.

theres no way the pictures are the same dimensions that makes arnold look 10 x's bigger then he was

Arnold had one of those builds that "looked" bigger than it was. He competed around 225 I believe, and never got above 250 in the offseason. Clearly a lot of the weight difference was in the legs, but Arnold holds his own in the chest/back category and arms are not far behind with his peak. Even though Arnold had a thick waist in terms of bones, his slim waist looks way better than Ronnie's GH gut. Ronnie would crush him in a bodybuilding competition, but I would take Arnold's body over Ronnie's anyday.
