Schools Today,your opinions

there are many new rules in schools today and im wondering what some of you older people think of them,specifically these
1) girls are not allowed to wear clothes that reveals there mid drift or shows clevage yet there is nothing stated for guys
2) cuddling is not acceptable in school nor is groping or necking

now i find the first very sexist and the last two of the second unacceptable but cuddling in the school aslong as your not in class i mean come on

i was bitched at today for having my arm around my girlfriend and out of spite kissed her infront of the teacher to be a ass lol

what do you think of these rules

punishments are not harsh enough and when given out are usually to those who deserve them the least or those who simply do not care

certainly with the state educated system over here they do not streamline classes enough.....you need to make distinctions between peoples achademic abilities if anyone is going to thrive educationally

there is WAY to little physical education, and when it is it doesnt give an opportunity for the chuildren who are late bloomers to compete fairly, and they dont play cricket enough

no cuddling of girls etc. seems fair, except it will always go on so whats the fucking point of trying to enforce a rule if everyones gonna break it

extra curricular activities need to be factored in a lot more

liberal whiny's need to be listened to but not let to have absolute power, a pecking order at a school is healthy deoending on the school and they might try to label that as bullying

Rule number 1 I agree with.
Hey I like a cute chicks belly and cleavage as much as the next guy but chicks in high school let alone the guys are starting to do shit wayyyy to young today.

My little brother was fucking at 14 and the chicks were like the same age.

Number 2 is a bit inane but here is what I think about the education system today.

Sorry but its time to put the power of teaching, disciplining etc back into the teachers and principals hands. We raised hell back when I was in school but the worst shit was maybe a fight in the schoolyard, minor vandalism and telling a teacher to fuck off, all of which if caught had consequences. Even the strap was in my schools up until I beleive it was grade 8 or 9 that it was taken out of schools which brings me to this.
Back when they had the strap rarely did a kid get it because we just did not cross certain lines of misconduct. All the kids who got the strap went in like brave macho's but when nobody was lookign after the ordeal they were tearing up like pussies. My point to this is sometimes even knowing that crossing a certain line will put you up the creek will make you think a bit, let alone facing Mom and dad when you got home which in today's world is a whole other topic.

So if you ask me I think that the power's should be taken out of the social engineers hands(who have royally fucked up the system) and put back into the hands of teachers, parents etc.

One last example. I go on the road frequently. Now during lunch hour if I happen to stop at a coffee shop I cant tell you how many times I have blown my stack because there are 10 little punk asses from the local high school taking up 10 tables in the place and some poor old schlep is too afraid to ask to have a table.

I usually walk up and say "you with those kids?" "yep" "well get your ass out of that chair now and move, there are other people here who want to sit down"

By the way I do get along with most kids, just the lunchtime thing is a pet peeve.

i think high school sex ed classes should be much more comprehensive with actual sex practice going on. these poor sluts are getting into college they are trying their best to give good handjobs and blowjobs and sex and they are just not that good at it. its very embarrassing for them. they need to practice in high school!!!

as far as conduct, i have no idea.


in regards to education they should teach you how to learn along with teaching you what to learn. and alot of what they teach isn't relevant anyway, unless you need school to get into another school. everything i need/use in life i learn on my own or in the library. aside from basic math & the ability to read & write i don't think school taugh me anything i couldn't learn myself if the need arose.

this is conduct,if i got into the educational part of it i could go on for days,i have taken machine shop the last 3 years and never learned anything new and we never have any supplies to build anything and the majority of the class is failing and the rest damn near

i don't see what the big deal is. people should act & dress however they want. the only problem i have is 13 year old girls dressing like britney spears. i bet that makes the male teachers uncomfortable as hell.

-They force us to wear collared shirts, and khakis. Not that it gets to me too much, but then they stepped it up a notch and now say we can't even have a fucking logo on the shirt. Their reason is that it prevents kids from picking on one another. Bull shit. The freaks still get made fun of b/c the wear black all the time. The jocks are still frigging idiots. Ect, ect.

-They made us change our school logo b/c it might offend someone. It looked exactly like the Chicago Blackhawks logo, and someone went bitching. Next thing I know is the logo became a fucking R.

-I'm supposed to be politically correct when I speak now. Example: I said something along the lines of "Behind every revolution is a man with a dream." in a class discussion. The teacher jumped on my case about how I should say man or woman.

My buddy is a high school teacher, and his school has similar rules to yours. I asked him about the dress code thing, and he doesn't really know why it exists, but he told me that basically the school has to draw the line somewhere. No mid-riffs, no spagetti staps, no tank tops, no short-shorts, etc. If the kids could get away with that stuff, they'd start wearing bikini tops and shit like that.

As for the no cuddling rule...well, I think that's fairly self-explanitory. I don't think having your arm around your gf is a big deal, but I'd draw the line there. Making out and dry humping just isn't appropriate behaviour in a learning institution.

Oh and by the way, my freind has all kinds of dirty thoughts about the girls he teaches. He says that all male teachers want to fuck thier students, just like any normal guy would. Not that he'd ever do it, but I can understand the fantasy.

I agree with Taps, kids at that age are going to push the limits no matter what you do. Even if there was no limit, they would try and out do each other to set a new precedent.

The only solution is to set a conservative limitation, and prepare them for the "REAL WORLD".
