Hey bro's, heres the story -
Apparently someone on eBay by the name of Ivan Silaev, stole someones account, [email protected], on ebay, and sold several items... he seemed pretty nice at first, and about nine people had transactions with him.. and the last anyones ever heard of him was after we sent out the money.. When about a week and a half past, and we became a little suspicious, so I did some research, and doing that old ebay method I found on here, I found the REAL [email protected]'s address, and phone number. We contacted her in her home in illinois, and she said she hadnt used eBay for over 2 years! All of us have been tring to get threw this, we've been keeping in touch, and doing as much as we can, we've called the canadian police, fraud sites, ebay etc. but they all said they can't do anything about it. I did some more searching and looked up his address - and put a phone number to it using the canada white pages, http://www.whitepages.ca. And then it became more interesting. First call was made by a friend of mine, and a guy picked up (he said it sounded like his dad), and my friend asked if Ivan was there, he seemed very calm about it, and said Ivan will be home at around 10:00 am tommorrow.. The next day someone called back, and a child answered, and as soon as he mentioned eBay, he instantly said "wrong number" and hung up..
Right now i'm pretty much out of ideas, and doing some past searches i've noticed you guys are damn good at getting scammers to fess up, and get the money back! This guy/child, lives in northern toronto, so if anyone wants to help a lot of people out, including me. E-mail me at "[email protected]", or reply to this thread. I've got all the info, phone number, address, everything, if someone is interested in it!
