SCAMMED by a GYM!?!?

When I went to work out the other day, my gym was closed, much of the equipment was gone, the lights were out and there was no explanation.

I had been there 2 days earlier. Had paid up through July, in cash, and had a locker full of workout clothes and a $100 pair of sneakers. There's no way in and the bastards gave no notice.

Scumbags.

I heard about this shit on the consumer report in the news the other night. some guy opened gyms in the city and didn't come through with the equipment. I don't know. it was a diff. name than yours. but go to the Fox news website and i think there's a consumer alert section or some shit where u can report the incident and they'll take care of it

I had a gym do the same thing and I thought I was just out. But 10 months later I get a check in the mail for 145 dollars(6months membership) from an attorney that went after the owner along with the better business bureau-they caught up with her 1000 miles away trying to start up another gym---Call the better business bureau and just tell them what happend----i'm sure they already know about it----

I train at that gym sometimes, as it's near my girlfriend's house. It's a decent gym (although not as well-equipped as my regular gym) and they have a few nice pieces of equipment. I'll swing by there tomorrow and see what's up--I hope to hell they're not closed, as it's such a convenient place to train and I don't really like NY Sports Clubs that much.
