Say no to size zero..

Lol at the song.

Anytime I see a girl that looks like that I make some wisecrack about needing to eat a cheeseburger.

Cheers,

VIENNA (Reuters) - An Austrian woman lived with the mummified remains of her aunt for a year, Vienna police said Wednesday.

Officers found the corpse of the 96-year-old aunt under a blanket on a bed after ignoring the 51-year-old niece's claim that her aunt was sleeping and should not be disturbed, a police statement said.

A preliminary inquiry had determined that the niece, who was taken to a psychiatric hospital for examination, may have covered up the death for financial reasons, it added.

Austrian news agency APA quoted police investigator Gerald Hoebart as saying possible theft was being looked into since the younger woman appeared to have lived off her aunt's pension since the death and used her cashpoint card to withdraw money.

An autopsy was planned to check whether any foul play was involved in the death, believed to have happened in August 2006.

Actually my ex was a size zero and had one of the best bodies I have ever violated. She is currently one of the top figure competitors and, I would guess, is not a size zero but still has an amazing body anyway.

I can't even get turned on by a chick that's even close to that skinny. I want to take them for a double bacon cheeseburger, but leave them there. They look sickly and frail.

i fucked a chick with a bod very similar to those years ago. didnt go back for more after

Did ya'll notice that all of these women were models or celebrities?

What does that say about our society?

Scary...

I was once a size double 0 (How the FUCK can you ge smaller than zero, but I did it). I have TRIPLE zero desire to ever go back to that again.

Not really as I was married. It was after four kids too. After each pregnancy I would get smaller and smaller... :worried: When I was sickest (not mental issues, I had those when I was younger - the whole body image/eating disorder thing) I was 98 pounds at 5' 3 1/4". Was truly sick...

its usually the other way round. hmm..

A female can be a size zero without being anorexic. It's certainly not common (especially in the US), but showing a bunch of females with obvious eating disorders is not unlike saying, "Say no to bodybuilding!" and showing a bunch of pictures of Valentino.

There is something very screwy about women's clothing sizes, if I was a lot smarter and understood more about psychology I'd be able to understand it better. Think about the fact that women's sizes run from 00 and up. There are women out there who STRIVE to BE a Zero, Nothing, or even 00 which is less than nothing. What does that subconsciously do to a woman's perception of herself? And what does it say about the women who can NEVER be a zero, who are thought LESS of because they can't BE zeros?

Fucking twisted.

I should post of pic of my sis when she was at her nastiest.

truly gross

i should do a before/after the disease, how much better she looks now

i'll see if i can find it

I have had stomach problems since I was a kid that have gotten progressively worse with age. Ya'll have no idea how hard I fight to maintain any sort of mass and that's because I NEVER want to go back to the sickly creature I was bout 10 years back... NEVER.

I could care less about the number in the label since I know EXACTLY how screwed up the way they size clothing is. Used to BIGTIME mess with my head. Now I know that at any given time, in any given store I will be a 2 to a 6 or men's size 28/33 (I like my pants to bag at the bottom LOL).

Yes, I DO wear men's jeans. :)

A month or so ago I was looking for a skirt and I picked one up that looked like it would fit me well, tried it on, looked at the tag....Size 12!!! I was like ARE_YOU_KIDDING_ME. Then I realized, it was a child size 12. In an adult clothing store.

picture evidence of nef in said skirt. :qt:

lol, it is kinda silly that you'd freak out just because it said the number 12.

society is definately doing a number on our female population, I think alot of like a real woman.

the ones who eat ribs and don't show them off. =)

So you don't pay attention to the size when you're shopping for skirts?

People our age, that's a little different. The 25 and under set are so incredibly image focused, and then to have that reinforced with models and celebrities striving to be unrealistically/unhealthfully thin, it's just wrong. You get extremes, people going to thin, or strugging to be too thin and ending up on the other end of the spectrum.

I just have a problem with the female fashion industry in general. They design clothes to fit a size 6, when more than 60% of all women are size 12 and over. Thanks to better nutrition (aside of the growing problem of obesity, that's a whole different discussion) people are, overall, taller than they used to be with larger frames. I've browsed a few vintage stores, most of the garments were made to fit small framed women under 5'5".

It's particularly unrealistic to strut supermodels, who have a very specific build, and then tell women (the culture) "This is what defines feminine beauty" or "this is what a woman is supposed to be shaped like." It's just not realistic. Young women don't think about the concept of Ectomorph versus Endomorph versus Mesomorph, and they sure as hell aren't thinking about how much the Vogue and Cosmo models are photochopped.

It seems like all you see anymore is people who are either underweight or overweight, nobody looks NORMAL anymore :worried:

I didn't freak out like "OMG I'M FAT" freak out. Because I'm not, and nowhere close to it (obviously, if I was fitting into kids clothes). I freaked out like, they fucked with women's sizing so much that now THIS is a size 12???

The store had child size 12, 14, and then adult sizes 00, 0, and up.

I was 92lbs at the age of 17 and after my daughter was born 2 months later I was 85lbs. I have no clue how that happened but it did and now I weigh 98lbs and have been this way ever since I was diagnosed with pancreatic divisum last year.

You have a point.

We work really hard on teaching Brianna self love.

Her first day of school was Tuesday. One of her male classmates told her she did not have any boobs like the rest of her female classmates. My spunky lil spitfire told him this, " I'm only 1o years old! I skipped 2nd grade so the girls in this class are all older than me. You're the only boy in the class with NO class. You're breath stinks too". ( I was beaming with PRIDE when she told me this story)

I'd say my husband and I are doing our job jusssst fine.

Beauty is a double edged sword no doubt... Luckily I was REAL UGLY for most of my life (not kidding). hehehehee that is why I could give a fat rat's ass about what silly insult anyone hurls. My mirror works just fine and my self-image is GREAT. :)

I try so hard to instill in my girls that education is MOST IMPORTANT because then they can be ANYONE they want to be... I never EVER want to see my girls struggle the way I did because I never finished college. But there is no one to love and support them. They are ALL failing school. When they were with me they were straight A or A and B students....

I just hope to God that I can fix them.
